  2. With the absence of any rules official, if you believe that you know where it last crossed the margin of the hazard, that's where you should have started the mechanics of taking your drop/ penalty. I would imagine there is some decision about this somewhere, but what it comes down to, is that you are responsible for the accuracy of your card/ score, not you competitors. Golf is, after all, a game of integrity.
  3. Put me down in the Crossline group. I've been playing those since High School and nothing else feels "right". I grew up down here in FL, so I've played with them in the hot, humid summers and they've never let me down. Much better than the GP Tour Velvet, IMO. Check a bunch out, but remember to check out the core size in relationship to your clubs. It definately can make a difference in terms of feel.

    Hats suck

I'll do that alot with sunglasses. Can't wear them while I'm hitting a shot, but before and after I will. I just always feel like they're going to fall off. I'm definately a visor guy though, unless it's cold.
  5. I went on the site and emailed Dan in Jacksonville, and he told me he only worked with Tour players and college golfers. Not being either one of those, I'm going to have to keep learning as much as I can from everyone on here. As I read Erik's "Deep Hands" thread, I just wanted to clarify what you guys thought. My hands are ok on the backswing, but I let the club head and shaft get behind me too much/ too soon. Are there any drills that I could do to work on to keep me from getting under plane to early?
  6. Thanks for the help so far, and the compliments. I'm definately going to keep working on my swing plane. It's been a bear to try to get rid of this upright pull motion. The forum's been a real big help so far! I'm still open for any suggestions, but I had a question: Does anyone know of any S and T instructors in the Jacksonville, FL area? I'd love to try to get a lesson. Thanks!
  7. Anyone heard anything new about this? If not, I guess the countdown is on for us DirecTVers. We'll see if it's on after the ball drop.
  8. Hey guys, I'm a new member so I wanted to start off by saying that I've learned a ton since I've been lurking around reading all the posts for a while. I finally decided to register and get on the grid! Reading the posts on this site (esp. Erik's) have really motivated me to try Stack and Tilt. So along with my intro, this is my first video of my S and T attempt. One last thing, I've had 20 yrs. of a "conventional" swing (translated: big sway right) and Stack and Tilt has really gotten me excited about golf again. My ball striking has really improved the last few months. Thanks again, please critique away! 6 iron:
