  1. how do I list items in the classifieds .. I a mbdlgb
  2. Just wondering what everyone's thoughts where on this. The premium balls v1, zstar, pentra etc are designed to spin on greenside approaches. Does this tendency to spin affect driver accuracy, slices, hooks etc on less than perfect drives and advancement shots? Would a two peice ball be better suited, and more accurate for golfers whose swings are not perfect, or do you all see about the same accuracy etc and the only difference between ball construction is on greenside control
  3. anyone else sign up for clevelands play it forward cg16 7 iron give away? I did and randomly came home to a new cleveland 7i just wondering if anyone else has gotten them and how do they play
  4. Just wondering about how many balls you take to the course and also how many you keep on hand at the house
  5. Just wondering about what everyone thought about push/pull carts. basicaaly is it worth and or neccessary to spend the money and get a decent cart or will the cheap ones do just the same
  6. Yes it needs to be activated and enforced and it is probably only seen in professional and, or high end amature competition
  7. would a range finder, gps or laser, be beneficial to a beginer who does not hit the ball consistanly? They are beneficial to finding distance but not worth it if you can not hit the ball consistantly with each club. any thoughts
  8. I'm torn between getting rid of my 3 wood for a similar lofted hybrid. Just wondering what everone's thought on this is. Just wondeing if there would be an advantage to having a wood over a hybrid or vice versa lofts being similar. any thoughts
  9. quick question on the out of bounds rule. is the ball concidered out of bounds when it comes to rest out of bounds or if it hits out of bounds. At my local course yesterday on the par 3 11th the green butts the parking lot whick according to the local rules is out of bounds. Its a 110 yards so I chose amy AW and aimed left anticipating my usual slice. well I hit the good and straight into the lot well the ball landed in the lot and bounced back into bounds is this an Out of Bounds penelty?
  10. Sorry looking furthure into the rules there is no specific rule that says one can not change balls for specific shoots. However on a note to 5-1 in Appendix I part C rule 1c i of the "rules" states "one ball codition; during a stipulated round the balls a player plays must be of the same brand and model as detailed by a single entry on the current list of confirming golf balls" This rule is up to the commitee to enforce. So basically it's not a rule but is in the rules and is up to who ever is running a stipulated round to enforce it. Not specifcally high level competions, where it enforced, but your local club has the option if they wish.
  11. Unless it's during a stipulated round then the ball must the same type of ball
  12. I have taken a couple of lessons and I acctually bought the momentus weighted swing trainer and it has helped me to swing better. went to the range with it hit great less slices was able to even draw some shots. it seems that on the course everything breaks down and what I have learned is lost
  13. I just want to know what everyone's method or secret is to to taking what they do at the range to the course. I can hit great at the range but on the course I stink. is it the pressure of being on a course, maybe the grass as aposed to a matt, although even off a tee i'm horrible and at the range i'm far less horrible lol. Just want to know some tricks or advice. Thank You
  14. Yeah the pic looks inverted then if you are a righty I was gonna suggest that the putter was a fake because the "agsi" is written backwards. This is my first Taylormade putter. I hit all the new putters at the store and I likeed the Marinello better than the fontana. But liked the tm-110 the best.
  15. I assume that its left handed? or did u rotate the pic?
  16. wow I was gonna post a thread on how well groove sharpeners work, but I think i'll hold off and let everyone cool off lol
  17. Yeah I thoght the seriel number was to identify it as authentic, and seeing I bought it at a authorized resler I wasnt't too worried about it being a fake. I finally got in touch with Taylormade's customer service and they said the seriiel number is just for inventory purposes on their end and that as long as the club was purchased at an authorized resaler that it is still under warrenty
  18. I bought a new Taylormade tour tm-110 ghost putter from golf galaxy about a week ago and forgot that I never registerd it online at Taylormade.com like the rest of clubs. long story short my putter has no serial number? is that right? do they feel that putters do not break so there is no need for one??
  19. Post a pic I didn't know that there was any silicone on the putter, or any club for that matter
  20. They are the same it's just TaylorMade's way of naming their hybrids
  21. I have two MASHIEs an 18 and 23 and they are easy to hit and easy to hit long and stright. Would definitly recommend them.
  22. What size bounce is your wedge? The softer the turf the more bounce/ the harder less. If you have a high bounce 60 wedge you'll have to down on the ball contacting the ball first then the turf otherwise the bounce of the club will not allow you to make the proper contact from hard turf
  23. I think it would be possible but one would have to be a phenominal long/middle iron player. Also competing with the bombers now you'd have to hit the fairway on almost every tee shot.
  24. I own the new Burner 2.0s. Great set of clubs I have them in steel shaft stiff flex and they are great. For a "game improvement" set one can still shape your shots, while at the same time the set is very forgiven. They are long. I am sure that is a combination of the jacked up lofts and TM use of longer lighter shafts. Overall I'd say it is a great set.
  25. I have read that Japanese clubs are ridiculously expensive and are supposed to be better than what is avaiable here in the States. If they are so much better than why are all the top tour players using the same clubs avaiable here in the States?
