  1. I have a couple of golftowns opening up here in Massachusetts and I signed up for their news letter. The open on thursday and sent me a PDF version of their in store circular. Within the irons section of the circular were a set of Maruman Majesty Vanquish iron for $4599. Wow has anyone heard of that brand? and why are they so expensive
  2. has anyone tried any "Full Release Grips sssss "? just curious as to how they are.
  3. What do you have in your bag for woods?
  4. I think he is asking how the ball flys left to right. do your drives have a draw tndency or a fade tendency.
  5. Has anyone used or has any experience with Maxfli's laser range finder. I see it being sold cheaper than many other range finders and I know it will not perform like a top of the line bushnell but I figure a cheap range finder is better than no range finder.
  6. Anybody here of when the new taylormade putters are being released. I can't find anything on the web site
  7. has anyone used a non lasered range finder? are they any good or acurate?
  8. 3w 22 degree hybrid 7i sw putter
  9. Had a similar surgury in october, be patient once you get your strength back in your arms you'll be fine. I'm a righty and had my right shoulder done still not a hundred percent but alot better. dont forget your stretches and make sur to warm that shoulder up good before you make any swings
  10. just wondering if anyone has a nike method putter and what your thoughts are on it
  11. Just wondering what type of grip everyone likes. Not neccesaraly the brand but the texture etc, also do you grip all you clubs the same or do you gip your diver different than your iron and you wedges.
  12. New to the game looking to purchase a golf bag. I do not know if Ill riding or walking mostly but I could always get a pull cart if I'm walking with a cart bag. Basically I like the all the storage and pockets of a cart bag. Just asking will i need all that storage on the course or is there ample storage in a stand bag. What does everyone bring with them on the course do you ever find that you need more storage? Thanks
  13. I am new to the forum and I see that a lot of people have the clubs that they are using listed below their posts. how do you do that?
  14. Right now my loft gaps and clubs are arrainged as a 10.5 driver 15 3wood 18 2hybrid and a 21 4iron and a 24 5iron. just wondering if anyone has skipped the common 18 degree club whether its a 5wood or hybrid and jumped from the 3wood to a 21 or 22 degree club. I am looking delete a long club from my bag to add a wdge but do not want to leave any giant gaps in lofts i am thinking of getting an 18 or 19 hybrid and a 23 hybrid and removing my 4 and 5 irons thanks
  15. Just wondering for those of you who have made the hybrid swit ch which irons have you replaced with a hybrid and how much difference has it made in your game?
  16. A higher kickpoint will have a low trajectory where as a low kick point will have a high trajectory. have you tried any other drivers out? more specifically a 10.5 degree driver. With your swing still flex is fine. imo how about a different ball?
  17. Just a quick question I am new to golf and have been trying out drivers and find that when hitting the driver I have a tendency to push the ball to the right, not a slice but just a push. I have tried the Ping K15 that has a draw bias and the Taylor Made R9 460 both are great clubs and with the Ping I do hit it straighter but still push right. I havent hit the R9 adjusted. in everyones experience do you feel that a draw biased club or an adjustable hosel would be better.
  18. Just wondering if anyone has used the new TaylorMade Pentra and what your thoughts were on it. Also any comparisons with the Titlist V1?
  19. Correct me if Im wrong but don't some manurfavtures make hybrids as hybrids with longer shafts than iron shafts of the same loft, and some make hybrids as iron replacement hybrids with the same length as the iron they are replacing. That said id think that even if the hybrid was an iron replacement one would be able to hit the ball longer because a hybrid is easier to hit than a long iron just my .02
  20. Just a question I wanted to ask to everyone. Looking at putters at Golf Galaxy the other day and everyone was over $100, most over $150 and some were $250. I see the price and technolgy involved in other clubs such as drivers irons wedges etc were full swing come into place shft flex, head deflection etc, Alot takes place during a normal golf swing and I see and understand why quality drivers and irons cost so much; but putters just basicly tap or guide the ball there is no or very minimal shaft flex, the head does no compress to propel the ball. Just basically asking everyone if they think an expensive putter and or putter technology is worth it, or is it just the person an there abilities that make them a good putter and not the actual putter itself. That said I understand that many putters and putter companies have there own sight alignment systems and I understand those are important, but I am basically asking about the materials used and so on not alignment tools.
  21. I am assembling a set of clubs and am contemplating fairwaywoods over hybrids. Basically I will have a driver nd a 3 wood but am torn between getting a 5 wood or a hybrid with the same loft. any thoughts or comments thanks
  22. I am just getting into the game and have been demoing some drivers at golf galaxy. I am torn between the ping k15, g15 and the taylormade r9 460. Was just wondering what everyones thoughts where on each driver and coments from those who have or have had theses clubs Thanks
  23. I am a beginer looking to purchase some equipment and was curious as to which type of bag, stand or cart, I should purchase and was wondering what type of bag everyone uses and why. Thanks
