  1. Ok, so there are a few choker-uppers...doesn't this go against the grain of club fitting? And I have tried the longer putters, I'm not tall enough. The grip is jabbing me in the gut/ribs, or I have to adjust my alignment/loft to make it work. Would make more sence to me to use what fits.
  2. Ok. Well, I don't want to grip down, 33" is still just a little long but usable for me. 34"-35" is going to be uncomfortable. I guess I can cut it down and take my chances. It doesn't seem like rocket science to figure out the weight of the 35" vs. the 34" and interpolate what a 33" should weigh...or for that matter weigh the portion of the shat that is cut off and add it to the club head. ...or I could buy from a manufacturer that sells shorter clubs...
  3. I'm wanting to get a new putter, haven't really decided on anything in particular, but my brother is suggesting picking up a used Futura. I use a 33" putter. I'm only seeing 34" and 35" putters available, with a few that are apparently 1/2 inch shorter. A website FAQ for the Futura putters claims they will not shorten them more than 1/2 inch due to its balance and feel. Is this bunk? Will I give up that much by shortening it more than 1/2" Can't you add more weight, if really necessary? Or should i just get a different putter?
  4. I prefer to watch Daly. But between the (2), I say its a toss up. Both are great.
  5. Home course is a very low budget place. Only 9 holes, greens are rough as a washboard to putt from, balls are occasionally lost in the fairway. Needless to say, they do not have a website.
