  1. @xxsoul...... I'm thinking you will be happy 1018's are happening as early as this coming Weds.... Price we will leave a bit of a mystery... but, your recommendation is inline with our plans. Thanks to all.
  2. All you guys/girls rock! Thanks for the support and entertainment (some of the post are hilarious lol) Matt
  3. Awesome. Sounds great. Thanks for all the feedback from everyone!
  4. @xxsoul, can you give us an idea of what you would consider a competitive price? It would help us price these properly and see how feasible it is to run these.
  5. Lol, funny I had to do a google search to figure out what the heck those were. Well, we will take the support either way :) If it makes you feel any better since starting Shotly, I haven't really got to play any at all myself Matt
  6. Dicks has em for $500, Rock Bottom has em for $350, Shotly has them for ....$295. Yep, we are that good! lol http://shotly.com/deal/callaway-diablo-edge-iron-set-a-suweet-deal-just-295-thats-50-off/
  7. @Fryeman, definitely will do. Thinking about 2 weeks before it goes up, but we will be sure to post in the clubs section. Thanks for all the answers!
  8. Thanks Erik, anything in particular you are looking for? Maybe I could give you a sneak peek and a day to keep an eye out for.
  9. Totally agree. Hopefully we can pull something together in the next couple weeks to start the process :)
  10. Ha lol. You and everyone else. I can see how that could read confusing. To clarify, just in case, Scratch Golf is a brand of clubs :)
  11. We are considering adding Scratch Golf to the lineup on Shotly and wanted to gauge your interest level. We have had a few people request this, but wanted to get some feedback on a larger scale. Thanks in advance!
  12. FYI, we sold out of all the Pro V's. Thanks for all the support!
  13. We are running probably the best price on the Pro V or V1x's. To get access to it, you just need to invite some people to Shotly. The more you invite the better deal you get on them. It does take a little work, but you could get them for $25 a dozen. If you are a subscriber to Shotly go to http://bit.ly/njuLHu and just enter your name and email. If you are not you still can have access to this special invitation but in the name please put TST Member. Ok so the breakdown is 1 Invitation = Max 3 Dozen @ $35 a Dozen 3 Invitations = Max 6 Dozen @ $31 A Dozen 6 Invitations = Max 9 Dozen @$28 A Dozen 9 + Invitations = Max 12 dozen @ $25 A Dozen. Enjoy!
  14. Absolutely. You get it all figured out? These browsers keep rolling out updates faster than we can keep up with at times :)
  15. Hey John Thanks for the comments and definitely thank you for the courses, it really helps to have specific courses so we have an idea of which ones to conquer first. To give you a point of reference, on all our deals we go off of the Manufacturers Retail not another website, we do this not to inflate numbers but because so many vendors have so many different prices comparing a price just isn't realistic nor accurate. So for example, on the Nike Machspeed, the MSRP or retail actually is $239 on that club (in fact, MSRP is actually higher). I can definitely confirm we don't inflate numbers cause we realize there are a ton of consumers who probably know more about where the best deal is and what the price is than some of us because you are scouring at all times for that specific product. We do however agree there are improvements to be made, but at the same time we are not always going to beat an eBay price, we just don't consider that a reasonable source for a price point, not to mention we work off of our cost, not what other's sell for. The reason being is people may compare used to our new, it may be a left handed versus a right handed (lefty's are always discounted more on the bay). The single most important reason we don't compare eBay to our prices is you don't know who you are dealing with on eBay, with us you can pick up the phone and give us a shout, find us on many forums.... then of course there is the counterfeit issue that I see people run into all the time on there. ' Anyways, a bit long winded, but I wanted to make sure I fully responded to your post to give you some insight on how we price, why we price and to assure you we definitely take your feedback seriously, just some times we miss the mark or there may not be an applicable comparison. Thank you for taking the time to write. Matt
  16. @Kieran123 Oddly enough we just got off the phone with a Canadian course. Though, Canada is pretty large. There is definitely high hopes of expanding out there though. Gotta keep the train moving and expanding :)
  17. @chaptown definitely an area of focus for us in the next few months. Trying vigorously to get some of these on Shotly cause we are 100% in agreement. @LeftCoast, awesome! Let me reach out to them and see what we can negotiate with them. The other thing that would be awesome is spreading the word, sometimes we negotiate deals with golf courses but without the proper volume to support these areas.... well they laugh at us :) Kidding, but growing the area definitely will benefit everyone involved.
  18. @LeftCoast, totally agree with you. Can you give me some suggestions on courses in your area that you play or would play with a discount?
  19. Ha! Love the suggestion, have you seen http://golfty.com? If you want I can throw you a free product search and we can find you a deal on it. PM me with what you want to pay etc and I'll see what we can do for you. BTW, thanks for the comments, you rock!
  20. Just figured I would post this up on TST as we have quite a bit of interaction with all the friendly people on TST. If you have bought, looked or come to the site this may be of interest to you. http://bit.ly/qnBKaZ Thanks so much! Oh and would love to get your thoughts, so if you have two seconds please give us your honest answer(s) on the poll. Matt
  21. Sorry about that deronsizemore. Erik is correct, you can go to link above if you have not already subscribed. If you have you can go to the same link and click on the third tab on the left and there are specific instructions there on how to get entries. Thanks for participating Matt
  22. It's going to be tough in the next few years if Tiger doesn't get back into form and contend at some tournaments. Purses will decline as well as TV ratings.. With that being said, if we are lucky enough to possibly see a Tiger-McIlroy pairing at a big tournament then that could lead to some of the highest rated golf in a long time.. Justin
  23. New and recycled balls are fine. Recycled balls are balls that have come out of the water or woods and have been cleaned up. They hit just fine and you may notice a little difference from used balls if you're being picky, but most probably won't. Refinished balls, on the other hand, I'm definitely not a fan of. The covers don't seem to last near as long as a new ball. I hit several refinished Pro V1's last week and none of them lasted more than 2-3 good wedge shots. They were chewed all up. I'd go with new or recycled, but not refinished. Justin
