  1. i would look elsewhere because the TM rescue 11 is considered a players hybrid in my book because of the minimal offset and small head compared to some other hybrids
  2. The adjustable sole plate is raised or flat or neutral. So for example if the sole plate is raised, the club face will be closed when soled on the ground. Then you grip the club and you would have a closed face so that you can better hit it straight or a draw or maybe to fit your eye better.
  3. I can post the whole article about fake and cloned clubs if anyone wants it.
  4. I was thinking about getting a strong 3 wood. I have a Burner steel 15 degree with a regular flex and I think I'm getting too much spin and not enough roll. I was wondering if anyone had a strong 3 wood that may have some insight on if you get more roll or if I should just try a stiff flex. Thanks!
  5. I have a mix of midsize and regular grips which I know is probably bad but some clubs feel better with a larger grip then others.
  6. I dont think you are getting the best launch angle and spin rate from your driver. Maybe try a higher lofted driver. or maybe your strong 3 wood is just amazing!
  7. I dont think many high handicapers know how to fix mishits on blades. I have played with blade irons and they dig a lot which is bad for a poor swing. Larger club heads with a little more offset are supposed to inspire confidence which I think will help you put a better swing together. MB's of true blades are meant for pros and scratch, golfers anyone else just cant take advantage of what those clubs have to offer.
  8. I meant no disrespect to you or your club choice. I've only hit the 6 iron of the burner and sometimes I hit it 160 and other times190 so I believe you when you say that it has inconsistent yardage. I just believe that golf is the most fun when you can hit the ball high and straight and everyone should have the correct tools to do that. But good luck with your new clubs and I hope you start knockin' em close.
  9. I dont want to be a downer but if your handicap is 20 and your best round is 85 then you are playing the wrong clubs. The MB is a true players club that most people cant hit very well. I got the burner 2.0 6 iron for free as one of their promotions and I love that club. It flies high and straight and far.
  10. regripping is really easy. there are some good videos on youtube.
  11. I guess you are right about the offset. I read on another forum about how rockbottomgolf.com had "reduced offset" in there description of the clubs and someone called about it and they said it was a mistake and that the R meant re-issue. I think thats why I thought that because thats where I got the clubs from.
  12. I also have callaway x-18r irons. I have never hit the x-24 irons but by looking at them I dont think it would be much of an improvement over the x-18s. The x-24 looks like it has a bigger club head and more offset.(I believe the R in x-18r means reduced offest) I think the x-24s are geared more for distance and forgiveness. Its hard to find a good deal on players irons but I have hit the cleveland cg7 tours and they are amazing. I think they are going for $600. Otherwise I would look at last year models like the ping i10 or callaway x-20 tour or x-22 tour.
  13. When I bought a used I-mix driver from golf galaxy the chevron wasnt aligned properly. So i moved it to be aligned but then the grip wasnt aligned. I really dont think that it makes a difference.
