  1. he wasn't being held up, all weekend people that were playing slow got put on a clock. that never happened during that match. so no he was not held up. -matt
  2. Lee is a whining bitch, he's pissed because he lost, sore loser, period. i used to respect him and even rooted for him alittle against tiger in the us open so i am very upset to see him act this way. as far as euros having more class is bullshit also, seve ballestaros was the worst as far as gamesmanship, padraig aint much better. but i dont remember the u.s. bitching about anything the last two ass whoopings we recieved. its just like the movie "the greatest game ever" the euros just expect they should beat us because the drink tea and dont get dirty when they work. just my 2cents ie lee can have his i can have mine -matt
  3. she needs to eat something, can someone get her a bigmac! jesus she looks like death -matt
  4. yeah that helped alot, i think i am going to go with 6.0 because i also play winter golf alot and there is no way i can swing nearly as hard then as i can now.
  5. i have a pretty hard downswing because i dont take a full backswing, i dont get to parrallel i mean. i didn't really like the project x too much. i am actually going to go to another guy to check why swing speed and see what he says. then should i get x stiff in my woods? my 3 wood ss is around 104-108mph
  6. I am going to order a new set of irons soon and was wondering what flex to get. my 6 iron speed is 90-92mph. The guy at the golf store said defiantely 6.5 but i dont know. I have the cs-lites in stiff in my irons now and am struggling with finding a consistent ball flight. i wanna here what people who have hit them thought whether they wish they would have went stronger or weaker. -matt
  7. my secret is keeping my left hand under my right one (not getting stupid flat) and keeping my left foot in front of my right one (balance). -matt
  8. does anyone know any good drills to keep from straightening my right leg during my backswing. this is driving me crazy. thanks -matt
  9. grip to tight? and do you take monster divots on hard ground, but that should hurt your wrists more than finger. -matt
  10. thank you, its really quite easy to do. just take your right hand with the club vertical and give it alittle spin and let it fall through your left hand. i dont do it on purpose its just a reaction. -matt
  11. wow i didn't realize that i lean foward on my backswing like that. now to work on that is that the drill where someone stands there and holds my head still why i swing? i mean i dont see a pro or anything i've been playing since i was ten and have been self taught the hole way (13yrs). what kind of drills can i do myself to work on that? i'm actually happy i got back to origanal posture at impact though. thanks for your help -matt
  12. i'd love to stand closer but any closer than that and its a shank or really bad heel contact. -matt
  13. yeah the pl red is a definately a spin killer shaft btw my driver swing speed is like 107 and i hit a 5 iron about 195-202yd or somewhere in between
  14. try the s400, plays stiffer than the x100
  15. let me know what you guys think 3 WOOD I dont use a driver for now. The first one was not anything that resembled a good shot but i'm glad i caught it on camera if someone can please explain why i hit the first as bad as i did let me know. the second one was pretty good it would have worked i didn't pure it. 8 IRON The first one i pured the second one i pulled a touch went like 10yds left of my target. again if someone sees why my misses are left please let me know. I know my swing is pretty flat and that may be the problem but let me know if there is anything i should work on to fix this. 52* Wedge Just some little 75yd shots figure i'd throw these in there because my 100yd and in has to get better in order for my handicapp to drop.
  16. i would just work on keeping you hips quiet on your backswing that will help keep your from overswinging -matt
  17. we atleast need to see a video of your swing but for now all i can say is practice and go take lessons. -matt
  18. this is all i use. two lines on a mirror. the line the ball is on doubles as my target line and to verify my eyes are over the ball. the inner line is to verify my shoulders are square to my target, which is vital to directional control. i also like the fact it's glass because if i can get the ball rolling straight on glass then i can get it rolling straight on anything. I know its nothing like the z factor but it has helped me tremendously and you can put one together for like $20. just my 2 cents. -matt
  19. trevor immelman won the master's with a set of nike cci's, definately game improvement irons. -matt
  20. I'm looking to get some new irons cause i dont play as much as i want to anymore and i feel like i need something with a touch more forgiveness but i cant go to forgiving because of offset issues and me already missing left. let me know what you think about these two. -matt
  21. ditto on the ping anser, i love mine -matt
  22. try choking down on them for a while about a 1/2 inch or so the change doesn't shock your system and just kinda ease you way to full length. -matt
  23. first you have a very interesting taste in music. second do you hook the ball or used to hook it because it looks like you are rushing yuor hips to keep from getting stuck behind yourself and either blocking it or hooking the shit out of it. other than your swing looks fine, maybe work on balance alittle bit. -matt
  24. a wood with same loft as a hybrid will typically go farther because it has a longer shaft in it, but a shorter shaft usually leads to better struck shots which also leads to distance. best thing to do is go somewhere where you can try same make/shaft combo in a wood and hybrid in the same loft. -matt
  25. i'm 6'1" and use a 34" but will prolly be trimming down. -matt
