  1. Hey guys, I am I am not over using this forum. But there is just a wealth of great information on here. I am going to sign up for the online Evolution or whatever it's called online lessons that Isacs advertises in his signature. Well, I recognize that I spin out on every shot, well after seeing the below video I have a much better sensation on pushing the hips down the target line as opposed to just turning them. I already produce tremendous lag, but now by sliding my hips towards the target line, I feel that my lag has increased even more and I can actually feel the club dropping in... Is this a part of stack and tilt? I hate to start doing this and find success only to sign up for online lessons and discover it is all wrong... I currently do exactly what he describes at 1:00...
  2. I really should not call it an opinion, and you are spot on to the fact that they started doing this after watching videos on youtube, so they had no formal training. And when I ask how it works they simply say to put all your weight on the front leg and turn around it... I hit good shots, but I know that I use very little or no lower body to start my swing. I start with my shoulders and I turn back thru with my shoulders. I actually swing very lazy. Oh, and I am all arms! Which is why I believe that I have a very bad bend in my lead arm at the top of the back swing.
  3. Hey man, do you not know anyone with an iphone? I would find that hard to believe. It is so easy, take a video, hit the button in the left corner and download it straight to youtube and then upload it to this website...
  4. I have really no science to back up why, I just know that some of the guys who I have played with who use stack and tilt are awesome from 160-170 yards in. But outside of that it just seems to be very inconsistent. But that is just my observation. Phil, why do you prefer stack and tilt? Thanks
  5. Any good places for on-line lessons? I am in NO WAY interested in Stack and Tilt... Thanks
  6. Ok, here is a better video, in this video I am swinging at 50% and I still can't keep my right (lefty golfer) arm straight. Is it in my grip or are some people just not meant to have a straight lead arm? Sorry to be a pest but I just want to understand this.
  7. This technique will seem to ensure that both arms are straight and fully extended at impact and it will make it much easier to hit through the ball as opposed to hitting at it... Just my thought.
  8. Can someone please give me a tip or drill for keeping my lead arm (straighter), i realize that I do not need to lock it but it seems to bend too much. Thanks
  9. Hey Guys, I'm new but this technology with uploading videos is awesome. Please feel free to be honest and tell me what you think. I'm working on keeping my shoulders back/square (not rolled forward) and my right arm straighter at the top of my backswing... Any advice would be great. In this picture I am swinging a Taylormade Tour Burner 9.5 with a Fujikura 360 stiff shaft
  10. Joe, here is my advice. Pull your shoulders back, and it will take some stretching to get use to it. Get in your set up position and I will be willing to bet that your shoulders actually make a bowl shape. Think of it this way, you want everything pointing down the target line, and with your shoulders being such a vital component it only makes sense. I'm not saying to pinch your shoulder blades back until you feel pain, but pull them back until your back straightens out and your shoulders are in line with your hips... PS- I'm not a teacher but I have experienced the same thing, I was so concerned about getting my arms close, that the closer they got the more I was rolling my shoulders forward. Hope it helps you...
