3/4 swings are they way to go from anything inside 120 figure out what clubs go how far and just swing to 3 quarters to take alot of variables out of the equation mate.

Make a solid preshot routine as soon as your routine starts walk into a "bubble" the size of your preshot routine. feel as though your bubble blocks everything else out except for the ball and the single minded pursuit of your target, when you hit the ball your bubble disappears and you can go on being annoyed by "gary" But as soon as you step into the bubble block everything out. it'll do wonders...

Well i adjusted the loft on my 910 to 7.75 (originally 8.5) and I'm now putting the ball a little in front of the left armpit. the spin looks like it is way down and the trajectory is right around perfect. The results speak for themselves, hitting it 310 on average with about 20yds of roll, Thanks guys!

When i don't shoot better then par you might not want to talk to me till my next round, but i guess that's just the expectations I have for myself..

Its not really a drill but more of a thought. Go to the top and on the down swing try and put your right elbow into your right pocket, this should put the golf club into the slot. Good luck!

I recently went to go get fitted for a driver, Ive been having trouble keeping the ball flight at a reasonable level (Too High). The numbers on the launch monitor weren't surprising, 3500 to 3800 of backspin. I realize that i swing pretty hard (118-124mph) and steep so getting my spin rates into the optimal zone (2500-3000) might be a stretch but I Would appreciate any suggestions on how to lower the back spin on my golf ball with the driver.

Play the 8iron from the middle of your stance and progressively move a ball back for higher lofted clubs and a ball or so forward for every lower lofted club, in my humble opinion...
