  1. thanks. I will check that out
  2. They said on the Golf Channel during the Nationwide Touranement today that oen of the golfers heard Dave Peltz say it takes 20,000 stokes to correct a bad habit. So, seems a device like this might help someone create an almost perfect stroke. My putting is so good I'd hate to mess with it. Hopefully I never need a putting gizmo. Anyway, It seems the device might help someone who needs better putting technique. I spend maybe 5 hours a week practicing my putting. That seems to help.
  3. I love using my #2 or #3 hybrid out of the rough on long shots. They do very well.
  4. I was crying too watching him on TV. I think it's so cool to see the guy finally win big.
  5. I agree. Putting one putts is a great talent. He just won. I"m happy for him. Looking at his earnings, this win is 1/3 of his career income. It's nice to see he can pat himself on the back and say I finally made it. Jennifer
  6. Try choking up on the shaft a little and see if that helps. You may be pulling your hands through too fast with the club behind. A pro should be able to help you correct this. Try swinging at 80% instead of a full power swing. That should help too. If not, come to Michigan and I'll give you lessons.
  7. I have played several tournaments. Not knowing how many you have played, the best advice I can give you is remember to stay calm, and swing within your ability. Don't try harder than if you just playing for fun. The other thing is remember you're not playing against anyone. You are playing for your personal best each time you play. Hope this helps and best wishes.
  8. It takes great consistancy to shoot in the 60's. I do it every season but want to do it every game. Make sure you're in top shape and the clubs you play with at fitted. It all helps. And most imporant, don't swing too hard.
  9. I think you should do just fine. Hopefully your uncle is back to the game soon. I would have volunteer to fill in if needed but then I suspect it's a handicapped event.
  10. I just bought a Nickent 9 deg tour stiff. It's a wonderful driver for a pretty good golfer.
  11. I don't have a Blackberry however, you're in good hands. Inteligolf just came out with a version for Blackberry
  12. The only online game I know is the Widamar Beer Miniature Golf. Wish there were more choices.
  13. Classical guitar is great. I've been trying to learn it for five years now and just spend too much time practicing golf instead but winter is here now, Guitar will be dusted and played.
  14. Hi, I'm no match for your swing however, I started with a regular men's Taylormade r7 (2 years old). I found that a Superquad stiff shaft is a better fit for me. Better control and better distance too. I need a lighter shaft so I think the one I tested is an nv-65. You probably need a heavier shaft. Best wishes on your new driver. I'm getting ready to either buy a Superquad 10.5 or the Cobra that I tested this summer except I dont' like the loud noise the Cobra makes.
