Resumed golf this year after years away from the game. Purchased new clubs including Callaway X driver. Austad sales rep recommending 11 degree loft after hitting in simulator. Now that I have been playing for awhile, I am wondering whether my driver has too much loft. Is anyone out there using 11 degree loft on driver? My drives are high, but I don't think extremely so.
I have been pushing tee shots and longer clubs consistently to the right. I have been working on grip and stance. These don't seem to be problem. After reading some posts, I am going to try interlocking grip since my hands are small. Other tips?
I have been pushing shots to the right, particularly longer clubs. I was thinking it was my stance and grip ( which is probably true), but sounds from this post that I should also try minimizing hip movement in backswing. Am I understanding you correctly?
I have Hogan as well. I am not that old, but found Hogan's Five Fundamentals of golf to be the most straightforward and understandable golf instruction book on the market.
I just bought a dozen yesterday. So far I like them. I had been using Callaway Hot HX. I think the Fire go farther and have better spin.
Have you continued using the Fire?
