  1. For a fairly new golfer you have a really nice swing....
  2. Any reason they only allow 3 hours of coverage?
  3. I bought the Taylormade R7 3Wood in stiff shaft.... it has become my money club.... 220 off the tee whenever i want, and DEAD STRAIGHT. I rarely hit driver anymore because its become my bread and butter.
  4. Thanks for the feedback, i was thinking the 3 Hybrid would help replace the 5 wood and 4 Hybrid would help replace 3-4 iron. But i could be wrong :)
  5. Hey All, Im looking to buy a couple Rescue Clubs to replace my 3 Iron and 5 Wood. Im thinking the 3 and 4 Rescue Dual. Here are my questions..... 1. Shaft - Graphite or Steel? I currently hit Stiff Steel Irons and Stiff Graphite Woods. How do I know which is "better" for me? Which is easier to hit? 2. TP or Rescue Dual? - From what I understand TP are harder to hit consistently and are for the better golfer, smaller sweet spot, easier to work... etc. Is this true? I am buying these because my tee game is GREAT.... we're talking 10 to 12 Fairways hit per round but anytime I have 190-220+ im done... so contact is an issue and i hit the hybrids in the booth very well. My handycap is 10-15 depending on course but thats all due to my tee game and great short game. If anyone can give me any tips I would appreciate it.... thanks!
  6. I wrote we're back in it after Friday's matches :) Not today. This one is over. Although if Weir can upset Tiger i'll go insane.
  7. Dont look now but we're back in it. GO WEIR!!!
  8. Mahan/Stricker Scott/Ogilvy Mickelson/Austin Singh/Weir Cink/Johnson Sabbatini/Immelman Toms/Furyk Els/Cabrera Glover/Verplank Appleby/Goosen Woods/Howell Choi/O'Hern
  9. Yesterday, Par 5. Hit my drive left along the tree line... found it short but on the dirt and barely had a stance, pulled out a 3 iron to choke down and just try to advance it.... duff the ball out of there leaving about 260 yds in... asked my friend if i could borrow his Taylormade Rescue (I have never hit this club) smashed one but went way right behind some trees.... chipped it through the trees over a hill onto the green and made a 10 footer to save par. Just your average par i guess. This helped save my best round ever.... 5 Over - 77.
  10. Great tips here, thanks alot for this.
  11. Had two beauties today.... 1. 75 yards in, baby sand wedge.... bounce twice, pin and in... For Par haha. 2. Drove the green on a 308 yard Par 4, missed the 10 ft Eagle and tapped in for Birdie. Best 92 you will ever see... haha.
  12. I recently bought the Taylormade RAC OS2 Irons, These are the best clubs I have hit. I used to struggle with my irons, they've taken 5-7 strokes off my game and now i feel im doing more thinking about the game itself, what club and where to hit the ball based on the course... and less thinking about screwing up. Would recommend these irons to everyone... it took me almost 2 months to make my decision. I suggest trying these irons.
  13. I was terrible with my irons for 4 years.... so.... i bought new Irons... Taylormade RAC OS (Oversized)... they are very forgiving and my contact has improved to the point where its saved me 6-8 shots per round. From the low 90's to the mid 80's... consistently. Sometimes its the equipment.
  14. I use mine but only for full or 3/4 shots... i do not use it to chip as i struggle with it. I go to the Sand Wedge to chip.
