  2. I don't agree with the notion that it is only new and unexperienced golfers that play slow. More often than not I'm by far the one with most shots by I also make a habit of being prepared to play when it's my turn so not to slow down the ball. The thing that really takes time in my experience is practice swings, especially when they are followd by a change of club and a whole new procedure. This is not dependent of skill, it's all about the mindset of the players. If you want to be fast it is easy, regardless of skill. Just look at the pros, it's not like they don't have the skill but they still play slower than what is necessary for a high handicaper.

    wrist pain

I changed my grip recently and I too have some feeling of pain in my left wrist. I'm not certain if it is because I'm doing something wrong or if it is just a result of weak muscles being worked as I played three 18-rounds during the weekend.
  4. I will rant on just as usual. On the other hand I am highly critical of hybrids and modern oversized woods too... Edit: I should mention that this is done in good humor when playing with people I know quite good. I try to tone it down when playing with others.
  5. I play a Northwestern Tom Weiskopf-309 putter. My best guess is that it is older than 25 years, if anyone knows I would be very thankful as it used to be my dad's and he is not around any more. My bag is also equipped with a MacGregor Tournament spoon but that one will soon be replaced with a modern gigantic 5 "wood".
  6. Thanks for the answers. You're quite right about them being hard, especially a little bit of center it feels like hitting into a rock. Not a pleasant feeling through the spine, one could think I would learn not to hit like that... The shaft is Multistep R. Grips are overall ok, a bit dry on two or three clubs. The grips are also asymmetrical, it's like a ridge on the back side. The thing I find frustrating is that it seems to be impossible to find any information on the Tornament-line, might it be because it was a one time thing? One thing that i didn't think of before is that there are a driver and a metalwood in the set, also marked Tournament. My understanding is that thees wasn't available until the mid 80's? The design is otherwise like persimon, down to fake screws around the sweet spot for no apparent reason.
  7. I'm sorry, I don't really like to bump but this is one last try to find any information. I tried contacting the company but that didn't work that well. Regards
  8. Hi, I inherited a bag of golf clubs but I don´t know that much about them. My hope is that you can help me. I have tried to search for them on the internet but I can´t really fint anything on MacGregor Heel Toe Tournament. Does anyone know how old they are (my guess, between 1975-1985) and if they are any good. Regards JoBo
