right ive been going to the driving range quite abit lately and im hitting the irons fine, whent on the green and puttings coming along aswell, the problem i have is with the 1 wood. for some reason i cant hit the ball properly (i dont seem to have a problem with the 3 or 5 woods) i place the club next to the ball with the ball on the centre marker, take my back swing strike the ball and for some reason im hitting the ball on the corner of the club face like so... and afew other problems im having with this club are, when i hit it, it sometimes frives very low and straight or low on bobbles along the grass for about 100 yards another problem is if i do get one off the ground it goes straight for about 100 yards and all of a sudden just curves to the right or left sometimes if i hit the ball aswell though the club vibrates and shakes badly in my hand help please

to perfect my drive swing:ive got to get the swing correct so i can hit the ball far and in a straight line, so its all good from the tee the next thing will be to work on my putting which isnt that bad for a beginner, then i really need to work on my pitching/chipping shots

Hey A newbie here just started learning about aweek ago now a, picked up a set of dunlop clubs to get me started will get something abit better when i get the hang of things. had a look around the site and it looks quite good here, ill be spending most of my time in the tips section lol any tips you have on the old backswing that you could send my way would be appreciated

My consistency sucks also, ive just started out and my swing technique is quite bad, although i do find that some of my shots seem to be perfect with a nice straight drive then the next one will be sliced left i really need to work on my drive, im also thinking of having lessons, many golfers ive talked to have told me to get some lessons in the bag so its seem the right decision
