I have these clubs. I started playing about a year ago. I bought them from a co-worker that no longer played. I've thought about buying new set of irons, but I always thing...why I really like these clubs. The reviews on them are always very good. They are very popular items on ebay, they get snagged up quickly.

I was a switch hitter in baseball, left side for control and placement, right for power. The first time I played golf played with a friends clubs (righty of course), never looked back. I do everything left handed except golf. Not that I'm a good golfer, but I couldn't imagine playing golf left handed.

I've only been playing about 3 months. This past Saturday I hit a drive that measured 284 according to the GPS in the cart. I'm very proud of that.

I am a beginner that has just started playing about a month ago. I started playing because my 12 year old son decided that he wanted to play golf. I bought a nice set of clubs from a co-worker. He usually only gets top of the line type stuff (cars,TVs...), so I knew I'd be getting quality equipment and a good price. Anyway, I love the clubs (cobra irons, Calloway woods), but I'm curious about the putter that came with the set. He does not remember where he got it or what the brand is. The only markings on the putter head have: MGC Mastodon. The shaft is Apollo and the grip is FSG. I like the putter, but I'd like to know something about it...just because.

I contacted Golflogix to inquire about using one of my existing GPSs to load their software onto. They claimed that it could not be done. I understand their marketing ideas and needs to make money, but I doubt seriously that the unit hardware is any different than a normal GPS. If they don't want to market the software only that's fine, I just really hate to be lied to. I'll bet that I could load the Golflogix software onto my GPS with no problems (I'm sure I'd lose the functionality I currently have on the GPS). They claim that next year they will be selling a software upgrade to existing Garmin users, we'll see.

I'm a beginner and really don't know the how's and why's, but I do love my 60 LW. I hit it more per round that any other club, expect maybe the putter.

I took my wife with my Saturday and she drove me around (while I played 9). At first I thought is was a big mistake, as she started telling me what I was doing wrong. Like, "You hitting the balls to the left", "too hard"....and I was playing really bad (and I'm a bad player anyway) But later, it started to work out and it was nice. I ended up enjoying having her there.
