Yeah, I knew they 'owned' WEC, but those guys at those weight classes deserve to be ib the big show....rather watch 135 & 145 than Tim Silva fight any one! Heavy weights in UFC not much to watch these days...
-
Anyone see the 'event' put on by CBS!!! To bad the Lawler vs Smith fight had to be stopped! Girls fight was not bad either. The WEC on VS channel last night was great...every fight was very good. The UFC needs to add the 145 & 135 weight classes....these guys put on a show!

I hate the Cowboys....go Pack! That being said, I think the Cowboys win at home.

Let's see here>>> we have a Peyton Manning fan saying Brady's running us Fugly....We have a guy from Pa...not sure whom he roots for...saying that Brady is average...I've watched many QB's have all the time in the world, but if they can't find the open man, the pass still doesn't get completed. Brady is the best QB at reading what's in front of him and making a decision and accurate throw! He's won 3 SB without a stud RB! Soon to be 4! My Bills could use a QB like Brady....

Son tells me Matt Serra has withdrawn from next UFC, has a back issue, disc pull or something. I guess Hughes is now fighting GSP again! Anyone else hear this?

allin: What about Paul Warfield? Best hands I ever saw! Bob Griese was so,so, but his team was loooaaaadddeeeddd with talent on the offensive side! You had me there for a sec, but Bo Jackson...great players need to have a long career. You also forgot Walter Payton!! My vote for greatest ever! The think that impresses me about the Pats, they do not care what anyone thinks. They use all the negative stuff as motivation....coach has a huge ego! I think Brady is the key & I never understand why he's in there so late in the game. Brady has the great passing touch only a few others have had. I know the receivers are open, but ask Rex Grossman how hard the touch pass is to complete! I played High School QB, I loved to throw the long pass or the out pass, but the back out of the back field or the timing pattern was always much harder to complete....Brady is a master at both! Give him the MVP now...MVP should go to the guy who's team cannot live without him! Brady gets my vote there! How many would like to now change there vote as greatest offense every? I voted right the first time YES!

Life long Bills fan...I wanted someone on the Pats to break Losman's Leg...This guy sucks so bad...second coming of Rob Johnson.

Hey RIPSID::Nice pics...nice tat on your left arm...What was up with the refs?? Does NJ have a union on Refs? Where were Big John and the rest? And what the hell with seperating guys when there was still action? That one ref almost cost Ed Herman the fight! Any way...sure it was great to be there...but the card was some what boring. Did you see the stoppage for bleeding? PPV only showed 6 fights...we got the 4 main fights plus Ed Herman & little Joe Lo. Pulling for which Matt in December? I personally don't care, just want to see a great fight.

Anyone watch Saturday Nights event? Thoughts? I thought Evans was gassed and got a favorable decission, could of went either way. Was not a real memorable UFC Event for me. First 3 fights were very one sided. What the hell with Houston Alexander? He was over matched too soon! And who was that slug that Joe from Mass got to fight? Dana needs to get better cards if he wants people to continue spending $40! Please chime in.

Tom Jackson may have been right!! "They hate their coach" He was referring to the Pats hating Belichick, but it's the media and the NFL that hates him. Not the players. Belichick sticks it in the NFL's ear every week with his injury list. I'm sure this pisses the NFL off. For years he would hold back on reporting injuries, he saw an advantage. The NFL changed the rule to report by I think Wed. each week. So now he puts Brady and sometimes a few others down as limit time in practice or as probable with some mystery injury. This guy has and is going against the grain and people don't like it. He never really answers a question, week in and week out he gives the same or similar monotone weak ass response. He plays by his rules and goes by what ever necessary to gain an advantage "WIN at all costs!" You go Bill, they hell with what the NFL or the media think! Again, I'm a NY transplant to NH, grew up a Buffalo Bills and Red Sox fan. But I have to say the Patriots are getting a raw deal by the media.

This morning on WEEI 850 (Boston sports radio) they talked with Brady. He said it was loud but that did not bother him as much as the Colts d-line yelling fake signals while the Pats were on offense. He said he spoke with the ref, but the ref said he had to hear it to call the penalty. Brady also said the Colts defense played up tight on the tightend and running backs, taking away the short passes....Pats version of a running game. Also talked today about article "The Evil Patriots Win One For The Ages" by Kevin Rousseau. "Being hated never felt so right" and "Wake me up when the AFC Championship Game is being played."

I feel the biggest negative about boxing today is the fact there have been numerous questionable decisions....some very questionable!!!!! Since the UFC president is also a fan he speaks out when a questionable decision is made. I've seen only two that I can remember. Bisping split decision over Hamill...Matt Hamill clearly won that fight....fight was held in England;Bisping home country (very questionable) And a week or so ago on Ultimate fighter...they gave a 2 round decision to a fighter when it should have went to round 3. Both decisions were quetioned by the UFC president. Never would see that in boxing! UFC rules!

Lighten up on Tom. Tom is doing what Bill has asked. Bill is the ego maniac here, he is pissed at the world. WEEI, local sports talk radio keeps talking about what Dungy said after "Video Gate" He made some comment like the Pats past achievements are tainted like those of Barry Bonds. I'm sure this is on the board in the Pats locker room, regardless of any truth or not. Can't wait for Sunday's game, hope this will settle things down some. Good luck to both teams!

NL needs the DH! Level the playing field, MLB needs a salary cap like NFL...I love the Red Sox, but the team salary ranges in MLB are crazy. Teams that win with low payroll lose their players a year or two later to free agency. Watch Colorado over next few years, hell they almost sent Helton to Boston. Cubs will win some day, hopefully soon.

UFC is great...wish more fights were on each PPV event. Love the Ultimate Fighter show. I've watched many UFC's since UFC 1, I like the formate today, to many short miss matches back in the day of UFC 1-5. Great entertainment that is not fake!

[QUOTE=SirMilton;85336] However, Tom Brady's accomplishment of getting two supermodels pregnant at the same time has got to qualify him for some "greatest" award. QUOTE] LOL... Lets talk after they demoralize Indy!

Pats have lived for several years now without a 'real' running game. They continue to use the short passes as a running game substitute. The Pats may or may not go down as the greatest offense, but they certainly will be rated as one of the greatest teams, and team of this decade. I'm not even a Pats fan, I have followed the Bills since childhood...went to school at U of Buffalo. Have been a long standing Red Sox fan since then too. I watch the Pats and like to see them win, except against the Bills. I think the Colts with Payton/Marvin and Edge were another great offense. The Bills with the K-Gun were quick to score, the Denver teams with Elway/Davis/Smith were good as were the Rams for a couple years there Warner/Faulk/Holt/Bruce. I need to see the Pats against a great defense...not sure that will happen this year!
