I currently play a 904f 15* with a DGS s400. I have a v2 85g in my 983k and I am really pleased with its performance. So I've been looking to install a proforce v2 in my 904 also. But, I've never hit graphite fw's before. I'd like to get any insight as to what the benefits are, distance? higher ball flight? etc? or personal opinions if anyone out there uses this set up or anything comparable? thanks.

I was perusing through The Digest and in one of the equip articles they had a persimmon driver from Louisville . They look awesome! and sound incredible I was just wondering if anybody owns one? or has ever hit one and can shed some light on how they perform and what not. Thanks

Yeah, the sound on the 904 is excellent, it's more of a "thwack" like my old 970 and PT fairways, opposed to that tinny/ping sound produced by the 980F and various other fairway woods. As far as distance, I've found it to be not as long as my 970 but the mis-hits with the 904 are like exponentially better than the 970 due to the larger head.
