I always record. I can cleanly hit a ball even though I come over the top. So I need to SEE what I am doing wrong. Hey Thanks... Yeah I noticed that I am lifting up as well. I'll try the chair gig.. But I'll have to wait until my wife is out of the house.. We have a standing "No golf inventions with our furniture" rule.

I have not been playing that much lately.. I went out recently and video taped my swing.. I can clearly see that my range of motion is limited.. I do have a sore back from chasing my 1-year-old.. Thanks for the tips... I see one knuckle on my grip. I used to see 4.. but my father-in-law scolded me for that one.

A very good swing aid is a video camera. LOOK at what you are doing wrong. Most of the time you can see for yourself. If you cannot see what's wrong.. Then put your video on a site like swingacademy And someone else will tell you what you are doing wrong. Technique is everything.

That's why I'm telling him to put it on Swingacademy... They make you cut your video down to JUST the swing.

Hey Jona... Can you please put those videos on Swingacademy.com I don't know if you have seen that site before.. But it's pretty much the best place on the web for golf swings.

Yikes... I am dizzy... and now my neck hurts. Do us all a favor and put a better video up. And put it on SwingAcademy... Not Youtube.. Youtube sucks for this stuff.

HA... Totally my fault...That's because I don't have a tripod. I put my camera on the golf cart and neglected to zoom in enough... I am going to get better at video cameras.. (and golf) I like the analyzing of swings feature... pretty neat.

OK.. That's a lot of stuff... Can you pick one or two things that I can focus on.. I have been trying to swing slower so that I can focus on certain things mentaly during the swing. Not easy though.

I was just at the range today after not playing for 5 months... I basically took the opportunity to start all over again. The very firt thing I did was figure out my grip.. And yes... When you palm it it feels more comfortable... but the ball doesn't fly correctly. I ended up trying to get my right hand to have as little contact with the club and et it as close to on top of my left hand as possible. The my left hand thumb would have to move out of the way and allow the club to rest just below my fingers on my left hand. Felt awkward but hits were clean and staright.... I realize that this makes no sense when you read it... I probably should not even submit this post but here goes...

You should not put Golf videos on Youtube... It's not designed for that... Put it on Swingacademy ... This way we can slow it down and have a better look at it.
