  1. Now just starting to get back into golf after a year of a bad back. I have changed my swing and gone to a long putter to help the back. Glad to say I had a 42 today with 2 triples. Getting there, just glad to be back on the links.
  2. I have golflogix and intelligolf, I like some of both if intelligolf had more courses mapped I would probaly stick with them. Golf logix is good a buddy has a skycaddie and we compare a couple times in a round are within a couple yards. I like the desk top of intelligolf and there stats. golflogix has some things they need to improve, such as editting rounds, I like intelligolf spread sheet feel on comparing rounds. The on line looking at rounds is kind of weak as it does not have the break down for courses you played etc. It takes me several times to sync a round. They have some bugs but I am hopeful it will get better.
  3. Just used it this weekend and thought it was a good buy. Not as quick as a stand alone but then don't have the intial out of pocket expense. Only one issue missed scoring a hole and can not figure out how to go back and correct? EMailed tech support today will see how responsive they are since they are closed today(Sunday).
  4. To all you who have reviewed THANKS! I was wondering about the shot and score tracking ability and when it was going to be available, so I emailed Upro about 5:00 today to ask. They requested my phone number on the form and I gave it to them. Just rec'd a call back with the answers, I am impressed. They said the shot and score tracking would be available this spring along with voice reconigtion. I then asked about there company and one last concern I had was that they where such a new company. Would they be there for the long haul? He said that they had been bought by Calloway. OK I am off to buy one now.
  5. I put a black dot on each side of the number
  6. I would save the money for now on the clubs and invest in lessons. With some lessons and practice your game will change. You may even talk to the pro giving you lesson and tell him you are looking for some clubs. They could let you demo some while taking lessons or know of some good used clubs to buy. I just bought a new set of irons this fall and spent about 6 weeks figuring out which ones to buy. It was a fun six weeks figuring out which clubs to buy. Today's technology is a wonderful thing. Take your time in buying a set hopefully you will have them for a long time.
  7. I have a Bag Boy Push cart now on its third year, no problem still in good shape
  8. I just got some new Mizuno's MP 57's and absolutley love them, today. TAKE YOUR TIME ! Consult with the local pro or some one who you take some lessons from, they can start you in the right direction. I went to the local Golf Headquarters and demoed probaly 5-8 different brands of clubs at different times. I would get two or three different brands and take them to the range. That way I could hit and compare them. I would then play with the one that felt best on my next round. If I still liked it I would then compare that to a couple other clubs. I may have spent 30-45 days figuring out what I wanted, but am very happy now and am not second guessing my self. If you are going to spend $500 on clubs be sure you get some that you will like for some time.
  9. What a great Bonus day of Golf here in Derby Town Shot an 81 @ Midland 42/39 This was about my fifth round with a new set of Mizuno MP 57's. Finally getting them dialed in. Putter was a little disappointing today 2 3 putts and no 1 putts. Great day for golf
  10. Thanks for the web site makes sense can't wait to get out and try it
