yes they are 9 hole scores. Was impressed to see the 15 but I just aint that good. 30 handicap is more like it. Sucks though. Thanks for the input. 56, 51, 54, 50, 62 (yuck) 15.1 usga, 16 home course handicap.

I usually shoot in the low 50's on 9 sometimes a 45ish.

So I am on a league and just got my handicap card. Its a 15. We play 9 holes so does that mean that my handicap is really a 30? When someone askes what my handicap is what is the correct answer?

None of the above posts came off as negitive at all to me. He was even wishing anyone the best of luck. I dont think he's a, whatever name you were calling him. I highly doubt he is saying this stuff for personal satisfaction. Just seems absurd to even think that to me. Eh, well, just giving my take on the matter. I guess I just read it differently than you.

I just started at a 36. I am 40 now and went from my first 9 ( at a tough course) of 122, to my not so great 52-53 average for 9. I am getting better each year but it takes awhile. Some lessons are in order for sure.

One time I sliced a ball and was heading into a group but I could see it was going to land a good 10-20 yards away from them so I did not yell fore. I see him fall down and acted like I did not see him. When I looked at him a few seconds later he fell down again then started bitching at me for not yelling fore even though, as I told him, I knew it would not hit him. He then proceeds to yell fore as I attempt my second shot. I was by myself and he was in a foresome, otherwise it would have been on. A-hole.

Not me but a buddy that I golf with who sucks hit me in the upper arm once. I was standing on the cart path by the ball washer. About 10 feet in front of him and about 30 feet to his right. He hit a ball almost directly 90* right and hit me in the arm. Did not hurt all that much but later in the day and the next few days I got a huge bruise. All I can say is its a good thing he did not hit me in the face. Now he is always quick to say, I would not stand there. If you cant stand on the cart path then you should not be golfing, but I need a partner so I still go with him.

Same here. I've played many o holes with my pants down. In fact everyone in our group does just about every round we play. In fact if you look around at the course you will normally see multiple folks with their pants around their ankles during play, at least thats been my experience. the course we play has some pretty ridiculous ladies tee's. Dont think I would actually pull my dick out. Thats REALLY gay. The pants down thing is pretty gay in itself. Some inherent gayness built into the game from long ago I guess.

I love to but rarely can. Hell, they wont even let us go with two players without pairing us up with someone else. Pisses me off.

also one can just go for free to the lesser tournaments. I did not know that.

Yea, closest one is in Ohio. So I have to go to ohio with a four day window? all summer? and thats my only option unless i want to travel further. I would have thought there would be tournements at lots of courses all summer? That sucks.

Man, I've been there and cant find anything about where to buy tickets, how much. If I recall I did not see one tournement in MI. I guess I'll check again. Is there a paticular spot on the page where some of the lesser tournements are and where to buy tickets? Thanks for your reply.

I dont care if its pro or amature and might almost prefer watching some ladies. I am having trouble finding where tournements are and how to go about getting tickets. Even after searching all over it seems hard to find anything. I want to find something in Michigan where I live. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction on the matter? Any help appreciated
