  1. Three days ago I was hitting my driver straight 16 out of 20 times. But today it's the opposite. As fas as I know I did the same thing three days ago. I checked my grip, stance, ball. My swing is the same as three days ago and it suddenly just changed today? I have a fade/push fade/slice that won't go away. Very inconsistent hitting my driver that's why I stopped playing for more than a week now to try to fix it. I tried three different drivers, two of them has R-flex and tried an A-flex. Seems like it's not the arrow it's the archer.
  2. Which one do you use and why? Do they really make a difference? If they do which one would be the best? Not too expensive balls of course. I want to add more distance in my drives and works well with my irons and lands soft around the green.
  3. Thanks! I'll try whatever it takes to fix this slice! I played today as well as last week and if I only hit my drives straight, I could've shaved 10+ strokes off my game.
  4. R-Flex on the TM R7 Draw and Firm Flex on the slicing Callaway BB 2004.
  5. I used to have a TM R7 Draw 10.5 loft and I hit em straight. But now I have a 9.0 Callaway BB 2004 and I'm slicing the heck out of it.
  6. What Driver could I use to reduce or correct my slice? Offset drivers?

    Driver Shaft

I start to slice the ball and my swing speed is getting faster. Should I use a stiff shaft? Thanks.
  8. Does anyone have and or used a Mizuno? Specifically the MX900's how are they?
  9. Which one is better in helping your game, distance etc.
  10. I have been using my TM R7 10.5* regularly but thinking of using my Titleist 8.5* on a windy day. Would that help me?
  11. I currently have these clubs as well as the #3 and #4 Fairway Hyrbids, do I really need to keep the irons?
  12. I just started in Golf last September. Since then I've been in the driving range maybe about 25 to 35 times. Trying to work on my driving. From 80 yards to 100 to 125 to 150 and currently around 210. I have also played for 4 times and the last time was Tuesday which my drives were very good, straight and around 200yards. What did you do to have better distance? I know for a fact that swing speed is one but are there any other drills, mechanics or equipment? Thanks.
  13. Thanks for the reply. So what's the real purpose of having a stiff flex?
  14. Since I started playing back in September, I have gained confidence as well as swing speed. I'm hitting my 7 iron about 150 yards straight. I also have been using Regular Flex shafts and thinking of moving to Stiff Flex shafts. What would you advice? Thanks! Golf =
  15. Hi everyone! I just started playing the game about a month ago and but have been hitting the driving ranges since September. Already have played 5 rounds the past month, boy I tell you, back in September I couldn't hit the ball. Every two weeks I have gained confidence and have hit the ball. Tried to hit it straight and farther. I remember the first time I started hitting the ball, farthest is about 80 yards with my driver but now between 200 - 210 yards. Feels real good! I think that's not bad for three months since I started. I still have to work on my irons, but I hit most of my irons between 100 - 150 yards, depends on the club. I also need to work on my short game. Chipping to be exact! Got to practice on those putting and need to read the greens better. Here's what I say, there's nothing wrong being a Newbie, everyone was one! I think golf is a great game, it's also a game of adjustments.
  16. I just started playing golf in September, and here's what I've noticed. Each club have different lengths and therefore adjustment is needed. Same swing? I would say so. But when I swing my driver I need more power and my stance is more wider.
  17. I was in the Service a long time ago. Was in the Navy was based in Norfolk, Va.
  18. It's okay to be a Newbie I'm one myself. Everyone else started as Newbies.
  19. I'm in Sales.
