TPC at Deere Run in the Quad Cities. amazing layout. dramatic elevation changes, set on a river. well worth the 3hr drive. cheap too, $70. course was in immaculate condition, they had just finished redoing the bunkers the day i played. relatively easy course to play (shot a 78 from the TPC tees... and that's with 4 penatly strokes)
hope to play Whistling Straits in the next 2 weeks and i'm really looking forward to playing Cog Hill #4 next year after the redesign.
i currently have a Titleist 907D2 w/ ProForce v2 76g stiff flex in the bag. for me it is a fairway hitting machine. i also love the lower penetrating ball flight it gives me.
a few years ago i only used my irons... didn't even carry a driver, fairway woods, hybird. i was struggling with my iron control so i decided to only use my irons to try to get things worked out. distance wasn't too bad, i could consistantly hit my 3i 240yds., i actually think it helped me become a better golfer.
i have several Adidas ClimaCool polos/mocks, Nike/Tiger Woods DriFit polos, Cutter & Buck polos, Lacoste polos, and my latest addiction J. Lindeberg polos. for pants, i have 4 pairs of J. Lindeberg pants/shorts, Adidas pants/shorts, Nike pants/shorts. and for shoes i have a pair of white Adidas Tour 360s and a black pair of the same shoes.
