  1. What bothers me about the show is that they show the same episodes over and over. So even after the final two are playing off when you go to view the show you are watching an episode that took place three weeks earlier. They did the same thing on the original BB so I quit watching it then.

  3. No I haven't been to Crown King. Don't do much 4 wheeling anymore. If you do happen to get in the area look me up and maybe we'll go whack a few balls, although it looks like you may be a better whacker than I am. Actually we're a little over 5000 ft so I guess that would account for my occassional 300 yd drive.
  4. Hi, I just found this site a few days ago and am hoping it turns out to be a helpful and fun place to visit. I live in the high country of Arizona (Prescott) so am not playing much right now but we have a pretty long season and beautiful summers - so if any of you travel to play you might consider this area. I'm a weekend duffer and enjoy all the new equipment reviews - especially the ones provided by the end users. Hope to make some new friends here........Mike
  5. I have an sg4 that I just got back from the company for repairs because it wouldn't hold a satellite fix. I haven't had a chance to use it since I have gotten it back because of weather. But I have a question for anyone familiar with these units. I generally attach it to my belt facing the outside of the cart. Is this sufficient to keep a satellite fix or do I need to use a holder that attaches to the cart itself? Thanks in advance for any help.......
  6. I'm a database admin and have constant access to a computer at work all day so in between assignments I look for these kind of sites. I used to use the Golf Digest forum before they discontinued it. Love talking golf and golf equipment so think I will enjoy this site...
  7. I've tried just about everything out there at one time or another and I keep coming back to Taylormade, not just for the driver but the irons also. I'm a weekend duffer and would love to get out more and if I did maybe I would be using more precision instruments. But for the average golfer I don't think you can go wrong with Taylormade. They are long, very forgiving and look and feel good. I don't think you can ask for anything more in clubs. I currently have the following and am very happy with them: Taylormade r7 460 Taylormade r7 irons Bobby Jones rescue 19% and 3 wood but I think the Taylormade 3 wood is probably as good.
  8. I purchased an sg4 about 4 months ago and have only been able to use it successfully a few times - it simply would not hold a satellite fix. After numerous email to the company I finally got an RMA and sent the unit back for repairs. I just recieved it back the other day and haven't had a chance to try it out yet so I cannot comment on the quality of the unit or the fix - I'm just hoping for the best. What I can comment on is the companies lack of customer support or seeming concern. They may be a good tech company and have some very talented people working for them but they have some very serious customer relations issues. I have no idea what was wrong with my unit or even if it has been corrected. They just sent it back with no info on what was done, what was wrong or squat. So as I said I just hope it works. I tested it outside my house which is about 10 miles from the course I regularly play and of course it gave me the 999 yds to the first flag - but at least I got a reading. Now I just have to wait for a warm day to take it to the course. But if it's not right I fear I'm in for some pain to get it corrected. It is great when it works though. I have both this and the Bushnell and prefer this when it works..
