  1. Last night I was about to order a set of golf pride multi compound grips, when I had a thought Do you go through many more gloves than when using standard grips? It sounds really tight but there you go maybe I am. The thing is they are so much more expensive than normal grips, + if you use twice or three times more gloves then are they really worth it to someone who only plays once a week? So I thought I would ask all you golf experts out there, so any help please. Also not sure if your allowed to tell me this on a forum but I was ordering from golfsmith even though I live in the UK [ they cost around $12-$13 here $7 ish at golfsmith] so does anyone know anywhere I can get them even cheaper in the US. Cheers lads Mark
  2. Thanks for all the replies fella's, as a result of your comments I have just ordered my self a 16 & 22 deg hi bore's. Why hi bore's you may say well my Dad has a 22 deg halo [also cleveland] and I have borrowed it a few times and liked it, and due to the fact that demoing clubs here in the UK [other than in a net] is almost impossible I thought go with something you know. Now the problem is going to be we have some bad weather coming in over the next few days [not sure how long for] so they will be out side in my garage collecting dust, I supose I could kick the wife into the garage and the clubs could sleep with me, would that be wrong? Anyway Ill let you know how I get on with them when I eventually get out there. Thanks Mark
  3. Hi all this is my 1st post so sorry if it bores you. My question is do any of you use a 16 deg hybrid? and if so do you find it easier or harder to use than a 3 or 5 wood? and also how does it compare in height and distance to your fairways. At the moment I'm only using my 5 then a 22deg hybrid and I thought if distances were simular or better with a 16deg hybrid compared to my 5 wood then the shorter shaft should be more acurate and I would swap. But a few people have said that low loft hybrids are hard to use. I am also if the hybrids dont work concidering a 4 wood then my 22 hybrid [I'm not much good off the deck with my 3 wood so don't carry it] So I'm open to any suggestions that you guys have. Thanks Mark
  4. For what its worth I think that Tiger is a better golfer and has more strength in depth to contend with every week, but Jack seems like such a gentleman, I'm sure tiger is ok but he does come accross as very stand offish.
  5. Hi I' from the uk and I'm not sure if this will be of any use to a site of mainly Americans [I think I'm new] but it may be nice for you to look, its www.collegepinesgolfclub.co.uk
