  1. I'm about to find out tomorrow. I've been using snus (a bit like dip, only smoother) for 5 years, and played golf for about 3 of them. I've been without this heavenly stuff for about 4 whole days now, and I think I'm ready to go out tomorrow. Terrified... Never played without any nicotine in my blood, so I let you know how it goes edit. 2 divot tools (one is actually pretty sweet, it's a Swiss army knife I got as a gift http://images1.vat19.com/golf-tool/swiss-army-golf-tool.jpg ), a small orange sharpie, about 3 gloves, emergency coin stash and car keys.
  2. About 320 yards in Spain. Rock hard fairways. Longest one back in Finland was around 275 yards.
  3. Titleist 909D2 Driver Srixon Z-TX 3-H Srixon Z-TX 4-PW Cleveland CG15 DSG, 52 & 56 degrees Cleveland CG 12, 60 degree Rife Trinidad putter I guess I'm somewhat a Srixon/Cleveland *****. edit. Aah, yes, and Srixon Z-Star balls (or Bridgestone B330-RX.)
  4. Ah, should've read abit more into the thread, sorry. Well, nice that it worked out!
  5. Not sure which Edel De Vincenzo putter you're refering to. Seems legit, they handcraft every one of their golf clubs. Never seen a putter live, only read abit of the company. http://edelgolf.com/index.php?option=com_content&view;=article&id;=6&j;=putter&Itemid;=3 There's more info on the putter they make.
  6. Without seeing a photo of the product, I can assure you it's a "supporters" golf bag. It doesn't seem like a official Arsenal product, because i can't find it in their online store. In my local store there's plenty of these, Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal, Real Madrid. Everything from golf bags and putter covers to towels. One would think that a golf bag is made to last for over a month, so refund should not be an issue. But then again, it's most likely a chinese knock-off (as i can't find it in their official store), so I bet it's not easy to contact the company. With a little research, they're using the same model for a huge variety of football (soccer) clubs, just with different colors and prints. Hope this helps Edit. I doubt that Austads owns the Arsenal brand, as it's a company worth half a billion pounds Still, they could be making these crappy bags, but when they're spread to Finland, i doubt it. Chinese knock-off i would say.
  7. Mvmac's advice was great. Had consistent play all day, shot my record of 10 pars in one round (7 of them on the back nine), 6 bogies and unfortunatly one 9 and one 7. All the chances to break 80 was there, if it weren't for my biggest foul, greed. Going to try not flexing my arms that much, and avoid the backswing ala Daly Thanks for the great advice! I'll try it out today, i'll let you know how it turns out.
  8. Personal record on my home course. 86 shots (par 72, slope 71,4/127). 2 holes spoiled my perfect back nine (7 pars). I got too greedy on the toughest hole, and it ended up as a 9 on a par 4, couldn't catch a break. Counted 10 pars and 6 bogies. Still, only 29 putts, which is a huge improvement from the 44 (yeah, that's right) putts from a few days ago. Only 4 greens in regulation, but got up and down from most of the places. Everything was solid today, just a few dumb mistakes that i got brutally punished for (out of bounds, hazard and muddy lie). Well, tomorrows another day, wish me luck!
  9. Thanks for the advice. I'm going to try out your advice today. I'll let you know how it goes
  10. I've been Playing Golf for: 3 years or so My current handicap index or average score is: 17.2 My typical ball flight is: Straight or hook The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: Hook Videos: 7 iron: http://swingreader.com/video/view/BZHc0FcO/7-iron http://swingreader.com/video/view/Ki5C7ZC1/7-iron Driver: http://swingreader.com/video/view/yyefpdpa/driver http://swingreader.com/video/view/5TSgPd1c/driver PW: http://swingreader.com/video/view/GnWIXz5n/pw http://swingreader.com/video/view/N8rQ8B5u/pw _______________________________ Sorry in advance for the bad quality and the links. The biggest problem that I'm trying to fix is my divot problem. As you can maybe see, I don't take a divot with my pitching wedge. I never (intentionally) take a divot with any club aside from wedges (very small ones). I'm a class A sweeper, but I'm pretty consistent on the course, but there's too many bad hits (hooks and direct ball hits). I know that the driver swing isn't the finest around, but I'll manage. My drives are between 220-250 yards, and I get a fair amount of fairway hits. Thank you in advance, looking forward to opinions and thoughts about my swing.
  11. Last week I shot an 85 (+13) on a course I hadn't played before. It was an easy course (70.5 / 123), and the score is fully legit. I even played the entire round with the same ball
  12. Hi, I've been surfing the boards now for a while and thought I finally make myself an account and join in. I'm from Finland, so the golf season is pretty short (May-Oct, some seasons a bit longer). I've been playing for about 3 years and my current handicap is 17.2. I've already broke my season objectives (Play my hcp to >20, and a round of 85 or under), so I guess my next step is to play my handicap to >15. If I'm going to introduce myself, might aswell introduce my gear. Driver: Titleist 909D2, 9.5 degrees. Aldila Voodoo Stiff. 3-wood: Currently without one. Hybrid: Srixon Z-TX 19 degrees (3). Diamana Stiff. Irons: Srixon Z-TX 4-PW. Dynamic Gold R300. Wedges: Cleveland CG15 DSG 52 & 56 degrees. Cleveland CG12 60 degrees. Putter: Rife Trinidad I'm absolutely loving the Rife putter. Got it fairly cheap a few weeks ago, after drooling a few months after it. I'll try to post a video of my swing sometime this week, but I should warn you, It's not pretty
