I bought a brand new set of R7's on ebay for $400... Best iron's i've used so far

EDIT... Just purchased a putter and sand wedge since my clubs only went 3-PW. Putter: Taylormade Rossa Fontana Sport 7 SW: Taylormade R7 XD

So, I just purchased my first set of irons... Taylormade R7's. I got them at a great deal from a pro shop in OH for only $400 brand new so I had to go from them. This is the first set I've ever owned myself. Since then I've just used my friends sets that I go play with. So my first question is what do you all think of this set of irons? Secondly, I have now begin building the rest of my set... Putter, driver, wood/hybrids, bag, etc. So for a beginner looking into all this, can you all give me a little bit of advice on this?
