  1. I have an advanage, my Dad works at Warren! I play Warren with my dad less than I would pay to play Erskine. I usually play Erskine a couple times a year. My area to-do list this year is: Juday Creek, Whittaker Woods (taking Dad there for his B-day) in New Buffalo and Angel's Crossing in Vicksburg. I may try to get to Hawkshead in South Haven, but it's not in my price range.
  2. I'm 34 and my goal this year is to break 90 at Warren GC. Last year was break 100 and beat my dad, I managed both. Maybe take some lessons??
  3. I have only been Golfing for the last 4 years. My dad is a die hard and I finally caught the bug because of him. I play all over the area, but spent most of my time at Warren Golf Course at Notre Dame last year. It's a bit over my head, but it's a great course.
  4. The only wedge I'll use in a Cleveland. I have a 48 degree CG11, 52,56 and 60 CG10 and a 56 588 all in Black Pearl. Side note: I found the 588 at Goodwill for $2.50 in 8/10 condition!
  5. I have a set of Titleist 822OS (Graphite - Regular) right now but I'm looking to get a set of Callaway X-20s. Before the Titleist set, I used a Clone set of Nike Slingshots. My dad made me that set and I'll keep them forever.
  6. I bought a Heavy Putter (B3-M) off Ebay early last year and never really looked back. I have a Cameron Studio, a few Ping blades and a Odyssey 2-Ball, but I always had problems controlling them. The Heavy Putter slows everything down for me. I don't get all herky-jerky.
  7. I'm sort of odd. I treat new balls like they are gold. I only bust them out on certain occasions. I'm not partial to any one brand and treat all the high end balls the same. I like to try anything I find on the course. My favorite is the Callaway HX Tour 56. Feels great around the greens, which is where I need it the most.
  8. I had a 3 and 4 Taylor Made Clone (I-Rod shafts) in last year. I bought a great Callaway Big Bertha 5 wood (steel shaft) and plan on switching it off with the 3 hybrid. I hit that 5 wood just perfect.
  9. I love my Callaway FT-i (11 degree, Stock Speeder). It really does take the slice out. I also dabble with a Nike Sasquatch (10.5 - Stock Diamana) and I just impulse bought a Titleist 907D1 (9.5 - Proforce V2 high launch), it was a bargin.
  10. I had only been playing the game for about 8 months. It was still late winter in Northern Indiana but the snow was (mostly) gone. The first 9 was pretty uneventful. A couple of Dad's friends meet up with us on the 10th tee, which made me kind of nervous. Dad tees it up and takes a big crack at it. He's looking down the fairway and says he didn't catch sight of it. I tell him it looks like he is still away as he had topped it so badly it actually popped 3 feet behind him on the tee box. After laughing our asses off over that one, my nerves were just fine.
