  1. Basically I am interested in painting my Callaway forged wedge, for absolutely no reason other than I think it would look cool. I've got some experience painting models so think I am comfortable about how to paint the bits that are sunk (the number, the word "forged" etc). However what I would really love to do is paint the whole head matt black (like the titleist black nickel wedge). My questions are: Is it possible to paint the face? Pretty hesitant about this part for obvious reasons! Does anyone have any advice/experience on how to create an even matt black finish that will last on the rest of the surface? Thanks in advance. hampshire2012 Ps I did search the forum for other threads and couldn't find what I was looking for, but if there is an existing thread sorry and could someone link me to it!
  2. Good point!! What about - your hands have to touch each other, and the putter can't touch anything other than your hands. Haha I'm determined to find a simple way of defining it!
  3. Ahhh wrong forum.. Sorry guys. Can a mod move it to the equipment section? Silly me getting confused by tapatalk!
  4. ...you were on the PGA tour and money was no object? ie you don't need to worry about forgiveness etc - you can purely go on looks, feel etc My bag: Callaway RAZR fit driver Taylormade RBZ tour 3 wood Taylormade RBZ tour 19 degree hybrid Mizuno MP69 3-PW irons Titleist Vokey 54 & 60 wedges Odyssey 2 ball Metal X Putter
  5. Punched 3/4 50 degree wedge Can hit 56 degree wedge full but prefer to avoid that shot unless the pin position, hazards etc are crying out for it
  6. How about: the only part of your body that the club is allowed to TOUCH is your hands.
  7. I don't understand why they don't just make the rule "you can only hold the club with your hands". Been wondering this for a while actually.
  8. Try telling Adam Scott that the long putter gives you an advantage on Sunday afternoon
  9. Thank you for all the help guys. I went with mobitee - the deciding factor was it was the only one I looked at that had full data for one of the more obscure courses I play. Wasn't cheap but I'm very happy with it.
  10. Any advice on which apps? Would be willing to spend a small amount of money but most rangefinders ive looked at are well out of budget!
  11. Can anyone help me with an iPhone app (or something else) that will help me do this? Essentially I'm confident that my lengths are consistent (from the range), but I'm starting to suspect that my judgement is just terrible, as it is not uncommon for me to miss by 30 yards short/long despite (what feels like at least) a good strike. I play lots of different courses so not much room for just learning what works where! I guess all I want is a 'ruler' extension on google maps, or an app that does the same thing. Any help much appreciated.
