  1. Taylormade may be a lot of things, but you cannot take away the fact that they are one of the leading manufactures of consistently evolving and improving products. They may not "improve" to everyone's liking, but they do make subtle innovations/modifications/improvements as they go. Without companies like this, we would see much less movement from the entire golf industry to advance technology and continually improve. Love em or hate them, every sport needs companies like this to keep their sports relevant and exciting.
  2. I agree with the general consensus here on this thread. I would drop a longer hybrid for an additional wedge. Personally, the way I look at it is this: If I am 250 out. Chances of me sticking a shot close are slim. I am okay not having the 5 wood. I tend to miss a lot of greens as well. Having the additional short game tools benefits me when I am carrying that gap wedge. Good luck!
  3. I have the Grom XX and it has been a great bag. Ogio has really stepped up the stand system from the ones in years past.
  4. I have been playing the Srixon 2013 Q-Star. I really like how it feels a lot. It is a mid level ball, but still maintains a good feel.
  5. I am surprised nobody has mentioned any Srixon balls. The Q-star is a very good mid level ball as well. I just bought a couple dozen of the 2013 line that is supposed to have a much improved feel. 2dzn for $40 at my local store...
  6. The Manager at the Edwin Watts store locally told me he met with Ogio execs and was told they are going with a system more like Sun Mtn & Ping use. I have a 2010 Ogio bag, and I really do not like the stand. However a friend of mine just bought the 2013 Nimbus bag and it has a much improved system.
  7. I am also in the market. From what I understand Ogio has improved the stand system as well on the 2013 bags.
  8. I currently have an Ogio bag (I think it is a 2010.) While I really like it; asthetics, pockets, functionality, it has let me down on the "kick-stand" I know that they have improved this for their 2013 bags so that it is more comparable to the systems that Sun-Mountain and Ping have used. I also like the 14-way that they have implemented. Anyone tried these? I particularly like the Recoil, Grom XX Hybrid, and the Ozone (I know this one doesnt have the 14way). Thanks in advance...
  9. I have the same stoller in the double version. I guess I could go out as a twosome with it? Awesome though! Well played...
