  1. Well it's definitely warm enought to play here, we play twice a week. Usually only 9 holes. I really appreciate the help, I didn't think a simple question would shoot up to three pages but thanks. Next is new irons, but thats for farther in the future. Plus I have to figure out how to sneak this stuff in the house past my wife.
  2. This is what I ordered. Men Right Taylor Made r7 Draw Driver 10.5° Regular Graphite Taylor Made Mitsubishi Rayon RE*AX 55g Me and a friend played 9 holes today and believe it or not the course had this driver for a demo so I was able to play with it. I really like it, it took a couple of holes to get used to it. But it played very well. Thanks, Ski
  3. I appreciate everyones help, I decided to go with the Taylormade r7. The price was right on the global golf site. Hopefully this will help take care of my slice, it's not too bad so it probably will. Thanks again, Ski
  4. Not sure where that is, but there is a lot of nice courses down here. However most of them are pretty pricey.
  5. I checked out a couple of sites, and found an r7 draw weighted driver for close to my price range and am thinking about trying it. My only question is they list a lot of different degrees for the driver. What would be the best one? What is the difference? They list a 9, 13.5, and a 10.5 senior. Thanks again, Ski
  6. I didn't want to spend more then $100. But I guess that all depends on what exactly I find. Thanks for the reply, Ski
  7. Good evening, I have a problem that hopefully some of you can school me on. I recently broke my driver, now I currently play with a cheap set of clubs I got when I was younger. I am playing a lot more then I used to and am looking to upgrade my clubs a bit, obviously starting with my driver. I am a moderate player, that has a slight slice with the driver. I was looking at one of these drivers: http://www.rockbottomgolf.com/callaw...cc-driver.html http://www.rockbottomgolf.com/14clvhibormrh.html I really don't know that much about drivers and how good they are, I am looking at these two solely on brand name and they are in the right price range. Any thoughts, or maybe ideas on a different brand. Thanks for the advice, Ski
  8. Good evening, Just found your website and it looks very good. I am a Drill Instructor in the Marine Corps down in Parris Island, SC. I have been playing golf since I was about 14 on and off. Never played enough to get really good at it, until recently. Anyway, looks like a good site and I hope to talk to some of you soon. Thanks, Ski
  9. I say Jack only because he was my grandfathers favorite, and of course my grandfather being one of the men that got me into golf. Ski
  10. I think this is the actual site, it's not a bad course for being on a military base. http://www.mccssc.com/mccssc2006/legends/index.html
