  1. fixed.. it was bothering me
  2. i am playing AP1's right now, and mishits land were they were intended... making it.. not a miss hit? I rate them at an A
  3. I have nothing bad to say about my Titleist AP1's, they have improved my game significantly coming from a blade (PING I3) they offer forgiveness with the feel of a forged club.. shaping shots is not quite as "easy" as blades, but still very much possible
  4. no happy gilmore quotes yet? "you just hit that guy!" "he shouldnt have been standin' there!" i usually go to my happy place when i need a shot
  5. fellow spring breaker! I am leaving in T minus 15 minutes from massacusetts... next stop is Savanahh, GA for St. Patty's monday, then its to West Palm FL, the Boca Raton, and a final pitstop in MIAAAAMI baby... clubs of course are in the trunk... I figure ill get to GA by 2-3am PM me if anyone is in those parts and wants to meet up.... my mobile command center(lol) should be in operation by NJ or Delaware.... maybe MD haha wow long rive ahead ok bye sory to thread jack
  6. I try to hold myself back.. it only would get my head out of the game and I would play horribly the rest of the round... 18th hole maybe
  7. theres stuck of a-holes everywhere you go dont mind them
  8. +1 a problem for me as well sometimes... not consistent
  9. I started when I was 10 I'd say. Did not play competitively, just for fun during the summer with friends. But i got the basic understanding of the game, and just took it back up again hardcore. I wanna play golf until it makes me money...(dont we all) Im 22 now
  10. i think its more mentally than physically challenging... I bet I could hit around 100. Id like to think I could shoot a 70 tho.
  11. Thanks for your reply. I just got off the phone with him, and he's thinking the AP1 would most likely be my favorite choice, but I agree with you, I will keep an open mind. He says I am going to have a hard time not liking the AP clubs. I am excited. and Anxious AHH
  12. Hey everyone, new member here, first thread. My name is Jason, I live in MA, and the weather is bogus, but I am really itching to get out. Anyways, I have a great opportunity to get Titleist equipment from a friend of mine on the Titleist staff. I will be going to his club shop to get fitted, as soon as they open. Mid March most likely, he says. I am a decent golfer, I have a mixed bag that I am decently happy with, but with my situation, price of clubs wise I am going to take advantage of being able to deck myself out and not have to worry about clubs for a long time. Price is basically not a concern, but do'nt feel like I need "THE BEST" if it is not the club for ME. The conditions are, I have just Titleist to choose from. Last year I averaged about 80-82 I would guess, with an occasional high 70, and ocasional high 80. I plan on playing A LOT this summer, and will start playing as soon as the weather allows me to. I am sure I would benefit from a more forgiving club, but am not ruling anything out. (I am playing Ping i3 clubs right now with moderate success) I am still learning about types of clubs with different shaft/flex/grip options, but am wondering what some of you might recommend for TITLEIST CLUBS. I am sure the fitter would know best, but I am looking to educate myself in advance, and get some of your opinions. Thanks in advance, Jason PS i am REALLLY itching to play this is awful. Im going to have to drive to NC over Spring Break and play.. Cheers
  13. dont feel TOO bad... I am in MASSACHUSETTS.. we have snow everywhere... My break is in 2 weeks I plan on driving south until I find an open course.
  14. wheres "all of the above" ill do just about anything to get around a course. i like a quick pace walk the best id vote tho
