  2. Well kids, forged irons are made of this thing called carbon steel. It's softer than the average cast iron. Because of its softness, the face is in contact with the ball for milliseconds longer...that's why they're typically more workable than a cast head. Being more workable means you can put more spin on the ball. If you have a slice swing, a forged iron will only exacerbate that. That's what I mean by cast forgiveness. Sorry if that doesn't mean your definition. I'm sure it exists but I've never even heard of a cast muscleback. Why would anyone do that.
  3. Like the irons too. I like his logo- 3 green stripes for his 3 masters and red for his Opens
  4. You might be better served by the new rocketbladz tours as it sounds like you like a traditional look. They have the forged look and workability with cast forgiveness. Out in February.
  5. How did we get from Mick to global warming? Sorry I didn't read all 9 pages. All I know is its a little insensitive but if you put real numbers on the dollars he pays in taxes, most reasonable people would understand his ill-timed public comments
  6. I've been looking at the JPX 825 Pros and the me MP-H4s. I'm playing to a 9 now. Like the looks on the H4s better. Anybody have a good plus/minus?
  7. I've been a titleist 910 guy but think the RBZ driver is great at only $250. Obviously I agree that you need to be fitted but gotta like the looks of the driver. Also RBZ is long-shafted so might need to cut it down some....think the face is much less punishing on mis-hits
  8. I hit the 7-iron regular blades and flew 205 and rolled out to 220.i normally hit it 175. Fairly impressive I thought. Not sure how far the 8-iron without the slot would go.
  9. I like the looks of the tour iron. Still not how much of a distance gap will be between the 7-iron with speed slot and "normal" 8-iron with the slot.
  10. You are the luckiest person I know...companies just send you their new product to test out and write reviews. Im so envious. I like the putter...not much new to the shape but I can see how the paint accentuates the face angle. Very cool
  11. Glad to read everyones comments. I've got the original AP2's, playing to an 8, and looking at replacing them with 825 Pro's. Anybody have any good experience with both irons?
  12. Everything except my hybrid is a Titleist club and I would go R11. Have hit my buddies R11and I think it's longer and more forgiving...also a hotter face. Think Titleist aimed to fix that with the 913.
  13. I wholesale mutual funds to financial advisors.
  14. I want to play at least ten Top 100 courses- public, private, or resort.
