  1. Golftown offered me $100 for my 3-gw X16's (without seeing them)...They use a company called Global Golf to set the prices, or so the golf dude there told me. I'm assuming that they buy all the trade-ins.
  2. My first bag was a stand model that always twisted on my pull cart so I've been using cart bags since with no fatigue problems. There are a few lightweight cart bag options, if weight is going to be an issue, but they are quite spartan. I use a Sun Mountain C-130 on a Clicgear 2.0 cart. Definitely not a lightweight set-up but it rolls beautifully and carries more than anyone could need on a golf course.
  3. I tried a simulator for the first time today at Golftown. I found that my driver distance was pretty close but my 7 iron was short by 10 yards plus. The simulator was set to 7 iron at the time. The funny thing I noticed was that sometimes with only 1 degree of side spin the machine said that the shot was a slice, not a fade. The sales dude gave me some good advice...He said to bring in my current clubs and compare the simulator numbers to those that you know you get with that club...THEN... try other clubs and see if you get better results. I'm going to give this a try next time I go there.
  4. With a 10 index...you may want to look at the X20 Tours also.
  5. I just bought a Sun Mountain C-130 cart bag to replace a Taylormade stand bag.
