I am an MD and am headed to do my next block of training in North Carolina this summer. Excited to leave the northeast for more golf-able weather in NC.

Was finally able to hit at the Chelsea Piers driving range last week in Manhattan. They have a heated range which makes it more cushy after an hour or two outside. It is finally warming up though in the tri-state area. I am planning on going to the range a couple more times before attempting my hand on the course..... the Masters usually is a huge motivation for me to clear my schedule to get out on the links the next weekend.

What would you recommend as the first set of PING's to try or the first set of Titleist to try if I am searching for a post-DCI 981 iron set?

Hello everyone, I am in the market for a new set of irons. I haven't played significantly since I was a freshman in college (2000-2001) and now I have time again. I used to play Titleist DCI 981s and like them. I am right handed, have roughly an 18 handicap and am working on that elusive one plane swing currently. What recommendations would you give for a set of irons for a guy who is picking up the clubs again like myself?

I am interested in recording my play via an app . Is there any good Golf apps you have found that you recommend? Also, anything specifically to track yardages while playing?

I am interested in tracking some stats about my game during a round on my score card. What would you recommend? - Fairway off tee - GIR - putts Anything else? Thanks!!
