  1. I wish I would have heard about this earlier, I was gonna sign up but no spots left
  2. i have a scotty tei3 now and i really like it but i struggle with keeping it steady throughout the stroke. thanks for the suggestion so far!
  3. I am going to golf galaxy tonight and plan on buying a new putter and was looking for suggestiong on what putters to try. I am definitely looking at the TM Spider and one of the Rife putters. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Looking for a mallet style as well.
  4. I have a Taylormade TP Rescue 19* with a stiff steel shaft and I am thinking about selling it. If your interested PM me.
  5. thanks for your input. the balance of the putter is what i was worried about.
  6. Well I just got back from a tournament this weekend and I hit the ball exceptionally well and putted exceptionally horrible. Had 38 putts first day, 39 today. AWFUL. Killing my game. So I have been looking for anything to help and came across the grip that K.J. Choi uses. I was wondering if anyone here uses it and how they like it. Also, I was thinking about purchasing a belly putter. I don't know though. Anyone use them? If so, how do you like it compared to a standard length putter?
  7. i just recently added lead tape to my putter and it has helped with getting a more rhythmic stroke with the added weight. i have a scotty cameron and i added several pieces of two inches of tape to the sole. i tried other spots but they messed up the feel. you can get it from golfgalaxy.com and just experiment with it!
  8. I checked out the swing. The first thing I noticed that could be a problem with the slicing is the grip. You have a very weak right hand. Your right thumb should be pointing toward the left side of the grip, with the "v" that is made between your thumb and index finger pointing toward your right ear to shoulder range. The knee movement seems very awkward as well but I don't think that really is affecting your swing. You do seem to be coming SLIGHTLY over the top. Try visualizing hitting the side of the golf ball closest to you, which will help you come from the inside. The follow through and release looks good. Try to change the grip first. Also, you are going past parallel on the backswing, try shortening it to maintain more control. Take it or leave it, up to you.
  9. thanks for the help so far
  10. I went to demo some of the new Titleist irons and fell in love with the ZM blades. I was at golf galaxy the other day and hit the Taylormade blades and they came off the club real nice as well. So now I don't know which one I like more and need some opinions of people that have hit both or own either one and could possibly give me a little review of the clubs. Thankssss.
  11. I am currently using the TaylorMade Rac LT's and I have had them for around three seasons, playing nearly everyday. I am looking to get blades but I was trying to figure out if it would be a good idea to get new irons after three years of wear and tear.
  12. Is there a point when irons need to be replaced due to a wear to the grooves? How often are you guys replacing your irons?
  13. There isn't really a need for the two 19 degree clubs, so I would take out the 5 wood and the 3 iron.
  14. I love the Cleveland Hi-Bore 3 wood. It has awesome distance of the tee and is very easy to get airborne of the deck. I was not expecting to get this going into GolfGalaxy but after trying the various Titleist models and Taylormade models, this was the easiest to hit in all situations.
  15. I use a 52/56/58 combo. 52 is a CG12 which I use for about 115 yard shots. 56 is a 588 for 100 yard shots. I use the 58, CG12, for all shots around the green and anything under 85 yards.
  16. The Golf Pride Decade MultiCompound grips are really nice, plus they are very eye pleasing.
  17. I don't they would be any harder to hit, the Vokey is the better wedge of the two and has the better grooves allowing you to spin it more.
  18. I was wondering if you have tried the Titleist Z Blend Forged Irons, and if you have, which do you feel is the better choice between the AP2 and Z, for someone of my handicap? Thanks.
