  1. I recently bought the Ashworths. Very comfortable shoes...And I tend to have "issues" with finding comfort in footwear. Grip seems good, but my plan is to only use them on nice(r) days with traditional golf shoes on not-so-nice days.
  2. I know it as Interlocking as well...although I use Overlapping!
  3. I struggle with this, as most do, myself: The thing that I try to do if I hit a couple of bad shots in a row is to put me feet close together and swing smoothly and slowly. With your feet close together, if you swing too hard or too fast, you'll fall over! My other main focus is on posture and balance. I try to be very deliberate at address and when a shot goes awry, I can usually pinpoint why down to one of the items listed above. Scott
  4. I line up all shots like this, driver to sand wedge and all in between!
  5. Great post - I agree with this as well as the post above stating that smaller areas of lush, manicured grounds would help in conservation.
  6. Cleveland: Tour Action 588 51 - Gap 56 - SW This is my go-to club.
  7. +1: I use a 3 and 5 and agree with the above.
  8. Yellow Tail, Woodbridge and Villa Puccini are my favorite sub-ten dollar red wines.
  9. Northwestern "Chi Chi Rodregues" ! Oh, no, that's what I started on...LOL
  10. Love the Taylor R7! I've never hit a driver so consistant and long...
  11. Lessons are great - I am lucky to have a teaching and former touring pro in the family and he has helped me imensely. But I think that you can benefit even if you don't do a formal lesson by having a friend, who is hopefully good at the game watch you. They may be able to help you figure out a problem or give advice concerning different things.
  12. The above is very true for me as well - Except that on the weekends, I prefer to get up around 8:00, not 5:30!
  13. I love putting - as long as the greens are fast and true! That said, there is nothing like hitting a great tee shot, making a nice approach or a stellar chip!
  14. Mostly my SW, but on occasion I'll use a different club, based on circumstances.
