2. Cool stuff, I knows me golf equipment pretty well at this point ;) I just wasn't sure if I was understanding your question right or not lol, have a great day sir :)
3. Ahh, I get ya. Thanks :)
4. I'm not sure I follow what your saying?? It looks like a normal head to me with a painted on ripple in the flag??
5. Here is a link to each article in Toms series of articles on club fitting, He has over 30 years of experience in club design and fitting. They are a very good read for any interested in learning more on the subject. :-)
http://www.golfwrx.com/261559/wishon-what-length-should-your-golf-clubs-be/ http://www.golfwrx.com/261563/wishon-what-lofts-should-your-clubs-be/ http://www.golfwrx.com/275825/wishon-face-angle-is-crucial-for-a-proper-fitting/ http://www.golfwrx.com/277293/the-best-way-to-fit-lie-angle/ http://www.golfwrx.com/277859/wishon-how-to-choose-the-right-club-head-design/ http://www.golfwrx.com/279517/tom-wishons-keys-to-set-makeup/ http://www.golfwrx.com/280523/getting-the-right-grip-size-time-after-time/ http://www.golfwrx.com/284141/wishon-what-shaft-weight-should-you-play/ http://www.golfwrx.com/285239/wishon-what-swing-weight-should-your-clubs-be/ http://www.golfwrx.com/286911/wishon-what-shaft-flex-should-i-use/
6. Go with with what "feels" right and what gives you the best results. Sometimes it's requires a lot of testing to find that best setup, good luck in your search :)
7. Sorry about that, was sending that add to a buddy looking for a wedge lol. Here's the proper link to the article :) http://www.golfwrx.com/261559/wishon-what-length-should-your-golf-clubs-be/
8. I play my driver at 44", and my fairways at -1" from stock. My irons are -.5" and really like it this way. Tom Wishon wrote a really good 12 part series of articles about club fitting and length was one part of it. I highly suggest reading it. There is a lot of great information on the subject in there. Have a great season :)
9. Not necessarily, a 46*/48/ bladed wedge will launch the ball lower than a 45* gi set wedge that's designed to get the ball"in the air". So you'll get a little more distance out of it vs the matching sets wedge of the same loft so you can have a bit more of a loft gap there if needed.
10. Any time man, have a great season :)
11. Well if fat shots are your big miss I'd recommend going with the original ATV's which can be had for a decent price now or any other High bounce wedges(10*/12* and above) with a wide sole.
12. +1, not sure what they are a Clone of though.
13. If your hitting them fat on full swings your most likely coming in steep. High bounce wedges will help a bit with digging, but won't "fix" it. Look into the TaylorMade ATV Wedges or the new TM Tour Preferred wedges with ATV grind. The originals had really good turf interaction if you can stand the tongue on the back. I haven't tried the new ones yet but they come in the same ATV grind though.
14. What's the loft of your PW?? How do you use each of your wedges and for what type of shots?? Also what kind of conditions do you play in most of the time?? If your playing well with your current wedges, why change lofts on the new ones?? :)
15. Can you post some pictures?? It might get you more responses :)
16. +1 , Good post sir and I agree with your statement.
17. TYVM, I can do a tutorial video of anyone is interested in doing one themselves. Supplies are under $100 and done in under 2 hours including polish and paint :)
18. Thank you sir, I can't wait to do another one. I want to try to get some brighter colors this time, I may try dipping it in oil after heat instead of water this time, or maybe ATF or Royal Purple oil to see if the colors will transfer :)
19. You can add +1" butt extensions without having to reshaft the new set for much cheaper sir, I think you can go up to +2" without issue. Then you just need to adjust lie which isn't expensive :)
20. Hey man, that's a good looking swing from what I can see. I'm no pro though, I hope you have a great season :)
21. I decided to try my hand at torching a putter this week. Its just an old stainless steel Dynacraft so I wasnt worried about ruining it. I used a Benzomatic MPS(yellow can) gas torch and my DeWalt temp gun to do the job, it was a fairly simple and fun project and I'll definetly be doing another one soon. Heres a few pictures of my first torched Putter :) This is right after torching but before quenching it in water. This is after polish and paint fill. My next project will be a Cleveland Designed By head, similar to this one but with no sight lines on top. Thanks foe stopping in, have a great day everyone :)
22. Ultimately you should test all three and see which works best for you, but the Rocketballz are probably going to be the most forgiving, followed by the Razr X's and then the Amp Cells. But they may not work out that way for you which is why you should test all three head to head if possible to see which works best for your swing. Also if you can test them on real grass and not matt so you can get a feel for turf interaction with each set.
23. I will suggest you get fit for clubs, even if you don't end up buying new you will have all your specs for shaft, heads(SGI/GI/Players/Blade), loft, lie and such and can use that info to narrow your search for used gear. :)
24. TYVM for editing my title and not deleting my entire thread Mods, I just realized it was wrong and was coming back in hopes I could fix it in time. :)
25. This is my Almost All Titleist bag, just need the Scotty to finish it off.
