  1. Well I have only researched the AP1 which of the AP's would you recommend for an average golfer? And as for the Callaways probably the x20s they seemed more forgiving
  2. What is the best driver of the three Nike SaSquatch Sumo 2 Callaway FT-i Titleist 907D1
  3. Has anyone played with an F2 wedge? If so are they as good as the commercials say they are?
  4. I am a college student and just recently started playing golf again. I currently am hitting in the 90's and hopefully by the end of summer will be back down in the 80's. The set I am using now is just a $150 Wilson set but I am looking to get a custom fitted set in August. I have been saving up for a while now so money is not that big of an issue. I need help deciding between Callaway and Titleist. I have narrowed my options down to those two, but cannot decide. I cannot choose because from I have hit and heard they both are really good brands. I guess when it comes down to it I will choose the most forgiving. Anyone that can help my decision will be greatly appreciated. Thanks -Note: I am looking to purchase a full set (maybe minus the driver)
  5. First off I just played the Jimmie Austin (in Norman, Oklahoma) and it has been about 3 years since golf lessons and even playing. I have been busy with school so I guess I have an alright excuse. GOALS for 2008 Get my score back down in 80's Fix my slice Hit atleast par on 8 or 9 holes :) Save up money for a fitted set (preferrably Callaway or Titleist) Have fun no matter where my ball ends up If I can accomplish atleast 3 of these goals, I will consider 2008 an accomplished year.' Best of Luck With Your Own Goals
  6. Wine is like golf: The more money you have the better you're equipment (wine) will be. First off I am a college student and I am working on a budget of about $40 for fun a week. I enjoy sweet table wine compared to the dry dark red wine. My favorite is Deep Fork Red. I live in Oklahoma and it is from a winery around here. So I do not know the availability of it where you live but go with something sweet and you will not be mislead. I also suggest Beaujolais from France as well as The Beringer 1995 "Nouveau" Gamay Beaujolais that's just out and is selling around the US for about $5 is an excellent one. Because Sweet Red Wine can be hard to find I also reccommend a good red Zinfandel -- the Rosenblum and Rabbit Ridge wineries in California makes some very good ones that aren't too pricey Best of Luck
  7. I have been suffering from that problem for a while. A friend of mine gave me a quick few pointers that has worked pretty well but I know it's not that formal solution but it has worked for me What you want to do: line up like you are about to tee off or hit the ball then bring your back foot (for me its my right) back about half a foot's length. It will be awkward for a little bit but you will get used to it. However, it does not work all the time but it has worked about 80% of the time for me. Good Luck Conquering the Slice Monster, It's a Beast
  8. I am a freashman full-time student at the University of Oklahoma I am majoring in Economics and Finance with a minor in Poli-Sci and Spanish I used to play a fair amount in the early years of highschool (9th and 10th grade) Unforeseen events caused me to quit playing but I am trying to get back into this beautiful sport I currently purchased a Wilson set of clubs and Have been putting them to work. They are not too bad however my dad promised me if I can get my scores back to the 80's (high or low) he will pay for me to get fitted, so I am going to be working at it all summer. I just recently played the University course, Jimmie Austin, and hit in the high 90's..its been too long but hopefully I can improve some more and get back to hitting in the 80's but we'll see
