I've been practicing a new swing lately, and by new swing i just mean a correct swing. Anyways I seem to hit too far behind the ball and get alot of dirt on half my shots. On the other half i put a tee 2-3 inches in front of the ball and i connect solidly with the ball and hit it straight. Does anyone have any ideas why a tee in front of the ball automatically corrects my swing? I dont feel like im doing anything different. kvothe

Its good to know I'm not alone. I think it was so frustrating at the time because it felt to me at least I was really starting to turn a corner. inching closer to that 100 mark. In this instance it just felt like 2 steps fowards, 10 steps back. Guess this just means back to the range tomorrow to see if I can't fix what i broke today. kvothe

So, I went out to my golf course today thinking good thoughts and hoping to play a half way decent round. I start at 10 because the front 9 is backed up. Get to the tee and bomb one 270 in the rough, here's where things start to go all wrong. take out my wedge and end up over shooting the green by about 15 yards hitting the street behind the hole and bouncing against an older ladies house across the street. She walks out and STEALS my ball and goes back inside. That in itself pissed me off but i decide to brush it off. Get to the next hole and again bomb a drive 300 yards into the rough. I overshoot the green again and walk away with a double on a par 4. At this point im thinking surely ill pull it together, this just has to be working off the rust. No, my round continues to deteriorate to the point where i can't even hit a decent drive. I'm shanking balls left, right, I just cant control my clubs anymore.Got done with the back 9, and decided in the interest of not breaking my clubs I would just go home. Now I'm not the greatest golfer ever, I've just been playing hardcore for the past 3 months, but this just seems ridiculous. I mean to lose my swing in the middle of a round??? Has anyone ever had this happen to them before? kvothe

I'm sure this has been asked before, I'm sorry if it has. If i bought a set of irons that were not fitted to me, can i take them in to a club fitter and have them "lengthen" them? I wasn't sure if clubs could be lengthened or only shortened. thanks!

I'm torn between the two. If I had grown up watching Jack like i have watching Tiger then i might say differently, but since I have only really seen Tiger in his prime i would have to say Tiger.

I have tiger 07 for the pc, its amazing. I used to play hotshots back on the original playstation... those were the days.

Why do you think the celtics shouldn't be there? They had the most wins in the regular season and have consistently got it done at home in the playoffs.
