Well, Congratulations to me! The woman who moved out while I was at work has given me a signed divorce decree. I am moving to Pcola in a couple weeks or so. Have any of you played there much? I would like to hear some better thoughts on the courses than I obtain from biased ads and the such. Thanks

"We" just want you to never post again. Seriously, I'm pretty sure I know what you mean. Take care all. May you all live with less fear and more birdies. Pax Vobiscum, ---Matt

What I'm trying to say, Bro. Grill Room. Off topic. Yes? No? You make my point but don't really let me know that there is any differentiation between areas of the Forum. You see what I mean, yes? Why have any boundaries if there are none. Just call one giant thread "GOLF". I have a day or two that I experiment with different threads. No one can handle it? C'mon guys, life cannot be this serious. No, really, it is not actually this serious. I have written 5, 10, 20 page papers on death and dying. Is it any wonder that I do not take things as serious as many of you? And you do not have the respect to let me opine in a vein of humor because of the the way you do or do not believe? This is simply unfair. Please leave? I never thought I would hear that from you.

THAT'S where I saw him. He was on Star Trek once. And something about Sherlock Holmes I think. Sherlock had a dog named Baskerville as well if I am remembering the same guy.
-
Heard of him but not had the pleasure to meet him yet. I thought he somehow looked familiar tho. Thanks.

It is obvious that I abhor thinking. Why would youse guys want to think?

Four more injections in my lumbar region. Four prednisone. Two Lortabs. One tall-boy Bud Light. Later on some Wii Golf. It's been a bad week.

Just curious... who is the guy in your avatar that looks like he is smelling a dead cat under his chair?

Longest Iron in Bag... And More
Always an 80 replied to Reval14's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
Currently I am not sure. Since I switched to modern Callaways I hit my 4i quite a bit for a variety of situations. I am sure when it comes to my previous clubs. 1973 Hogan Apex blades. Best club in the set was a 2i. And IT was the best club in my bag. Not as versatile as the Callaway 4i, but for a pure 2i there was nothing sweeter. -
Some of you guys really do take this too seriously. I play with logic, phrases, and words to try and see what kind of response I may get. I have only experimented with this in The Grill Room. I kinda thought it looked like a fun place to play. Well, I've tried to get a few goats just for the fun of it, cause I don't do it in the other areas due to my being golf minded in the other places. I have very much enjoyed and benefited from what I have learned from many of you in the forum. I promise not to banter in The Grill Room again. Not because I feel guilty for having been mischievous, but because I see that not everyone can pick up on certain humor. I know in real life there are people who love my sense of humor and those who think I am totally off the scale. It just depends on who one is and how they see life in general. I have worked with many people who simply cannot laugh at themselves for fears only they are aware of. Some of them are not even aware. I totally understand these principles in relationship to the individuals themselves and their relationship to the world as they view it. I fault no one for the way they see others and the world. We are all different. Diversity is one of the things that makes the world worthwhile. How boring it would be if we all thought alike, eh? I propose we all embrace (or at least tolerate) our vast experience in life and our individuality in thought. And I promise to not relive my times on a debate team in grad school while I am in the Trap. To all my brothers in the wonderful game of golf, ---Matt

Uh,oh. Can feel it coming...another censure. The ultimate answer for the weak minded antagonist with some pull. (please don't say I must explain that last line as well for heaven's sake) It is bad enough to debate you self absorbed, egotistical types as it is. To explain my responses to your shallow minds is simply just to much for me to bare at times. Get a student loan for God's sake and take some courses in logic and or philosophy. PLEASE. Or stick to the subject of....golf. Hey, that's it! Stick to golf.

Please list these folks. I will be happy to inform them of the specific events if they are in fact interested in what caused me to make that one line remark. I make one line...you make conspiracies and several lines. Odd. I spoke with one very important member of this forum recently. It seems that you are at a disadvantage due to what you just stated. Know someone well before you make accusations. You never know who they might be friends with, Ernie. Remember what I originally said? Guess it depends on who your friends are? Think well before you respond. Don't intentionally want to get you demoted. I don't want you demoted, I just want you to think before you speak.

You could have "gone" with a term. Went is not quite the best grammar. But then again, you said you were from Wisconsin so I will consider the source as well as any previous posts. One does not have to be a genius to golf or have a command of their own language. So just be the best golfer you can. We are all supporting you in that effort.

You cannot call very loud from up there,Ernie. But call what you'd like. BTW, just trying to help, you've got something brown on your nose.
-
Guess it depends on who your friends are. Look closer.

Or we could be an administrator and simply ban someone from a post when they expose weakness in our logic.

I said "dog NOT smarter than you". Get it right or don't try to get it at all. Typical convoluted attack. Quoting incorrectly. Another ex-wife tactic. That is why she is single now. War of wits with being outgunned ( I am not proud of that last remark, but I am not going to take it back. I have my emotional failings as well ). She always did think she was smarter. Could not help herself. And I could not get her to seek help. Common human psychological disorder. I'm done with it. Had fun with some of you. It's all in fun with me. Try having more fun guys. Life is too short to get so bent over an extremely debatable subject. May open mindedness, peace, and love be with you always. ( I am not being snarky, but yes, I can be quite accomplished at it if I choose to be. I choose not to be at this time ). Pax vobiscum

I have not seen much substance in your remarks either. What was the first?... Scientific ignorance? You gave no precedent to that remark did you?? Please give your credentials, please. Mine are not expert. Studied climatology and meteorology as an undergrad. I golf with a retired meteorologist. As said, I am no expert. You seem to think you have more weight to your arguments. Or maybe the weight of others you have standing up in front of you as you posture with an opinion by proxy that you like? I pray the dog in your avatar is not smarter than yourself. We would really be in global trouble then, eh? Dogs operate on instinct. Man uses a sense of supposed logic. Come to think of it, I will put my money on the dog. I bet the dog would choose a more logical avatar than yourself if it had the choice. You chose the dog without knowing its sense of logic or innate commonality to the world around it. I think the dog got the wrong end of the deal in representing you. Be more fair to the world and nature next time. This premise would support your caring for the environment now, would it not? Think on these things. Snarky? Oh, that was cute. Snarky....a term often used in war by an adversary with smaller ammo. My ex-wife used to divert the real issue with such terms when her logic failed.

Gunther, what heresy doth thou speaketh!!! How dast thou speaketh with thou own mind! Science and common sense I crieth! Hangeth him!!!! Burneth the warlock at the stake!! No, thou shalt not burneth him....Global warming it should causeth. Just chastise him with very luke warm words! Oh great. Is Matt "one more guy"? Science will never prevail I fear against the assaults of the "this one guy says" crowd. Go to it Matt!! Mankind cannot survive without your salvation! (Matt, you did put your snowshoes in there just in case, right)?

How very sure of yourself to think that only those who believe differently from yourself have their heads in the sand. My goodness, how wonderful it must be to be as enlightened as yourself. Three "vast"s. Thousands (so at least 2000). That is almost 700 scientists per "vast". Uh, no. There is not this kind of support for the issue. Too many real (not dependent on federal funding) scientists that won't buy into this as hard as you seem to have. By the way...thank you, but I don't need your permission to keep my "head in the sand" any more than I would presume you needed mine to keep your head any where you chose.

As for considering a singly stated point I have no problem in agreeing with you. I believe in the validity of negative effects in relation to deforestation. Our O2 levels are getting dangerously low compared to the past as reflected by ice core sampling. I will not, however, go all Al Gore/Manbearpig (for those of you who watch Southpark) with this issue. And for those of you "in the know" to some scientific degree, NOAA is a government subsidy, as are its affiliates like TWC and Intellicast. This is very much a political issue as well as an environmental one. Do I want the world to live green? Of course I do. I am Cherokee. I am an animal rescuer. I am one who talks with my trees, flowers, bushes, as well as the birds, bunnies, snakes and spiders. I am not a militant blinded from reality to further an agenda. Only a fool would deny that at least some of this is purely agenda.

It would be intellectually safer for you to think I don't bet.

One guy equals "hard science". Far be it from me to argue with one guy when several scientists are coming out of the closet on the climate change scam.

Have not seen my buddy for a few days. City qualifying going on here for the next week. He is probably out at the course all the time. When I get a second look at the clubs I will post the particulars. From what I saw they were awesome.
