  1. i'm gonna get a C&l;, they are located near me in N georgia and i think i could pick it up and maybe get a studio tour.
  2. i dont think wedges have to match your irons, i do like all my wedgest to match, e.g. all vokeys, or all clevelands only because they have the same feel from wedge to wedge, so all i have to worry about is trajectory
  3. since no one has suggested it, i would definitely go see a club fitter and demo as much as possible, i did and went with some mx-25's with rifle shafts.
  4. I don't want anyone to think, I'm downing them, I've just never experienced them, playing or even watching others use them. If they help shoot lower scores, then i support them. If i were that much of a purist i wouldn't use hybrids, but I do.
  5. Seriously, who uses a chipper? I would love to hear a good reason, considering they have the same loft as 6-8 irons. Maybe its just me, but I don't get it.
  6. Thanks for the link, anyone in this forum used them?
  7. Anyone used/bought/seen/ one of these? They look great and are fully customized for less than $300, www.350milled.com . Thanks
  8. ive got the mx-25's, cant say a bad thing about them. mizuno is coming out with 4 new iron sets soon, the mp-52&62's(better players) and the mx-100 and mx-200( game-improvement). i love the forged feel of the mx-25, i traded from a set of titleist DCI golds, and the feel was night and day.
  9. the regular version sets up kinda closed anyway, so unless your trying to fight a slice, the regular version should be fine.
  10. i've recently taken a cameron out of the bag, to go with a mallet design, i needed a different look while putting, so it goes both ways.
  11. i';d go with the new mp-62/52(coming soon), or the ping s57, i also really like the japanese version r7 tp forged, i saw mike wier plays them and a set or two on ebay. check these guys out!
  12. i would buy from callawaypre-owned.com, my $.02
  13. From what I understand, the FTX is a combo set(3-6 cavity back and 7-PW muscleback) while the apex plus is all cavity backs. I just sold a 2001 set of Apex plus to a family member, and they were great clubs. I like the idea of a combo set to add control to my approach shots. Again I could be wrong but i believe they are the same clubs except for the difference noted.-AB
  14. I like the idea of using the same ball for a round , golf is so much of a feel game, and each companies ball has a different feel. remember, these balls will spin off wedges more, as well as drivers. the faster the greens are the more spin i need to keep it close, also if im not driving the ball well, the farther offline it will go. give them a try, i play Titleist proV1 because i like the way they feel off the irons and putter, as well as the spin. THat what i think for what its worth. -AL B Q:What has 9 arms and sucks? A: Def Leppard
