to westhabeast waht is the loft on your SLDR and did you have a fitting?

What don't you like about the video by Mark Crossfield? does the truth hurt you ego? ask ant fitter worth his salt and they WILL TELL YOU shaft flex isn't as important as many believe. FACT!

If you're driver shaft is 63g you will need a 73g in the fairway.As the shaft is shorter you will need extra weight to keep the same swing weights consistent...

Club are fine,I was fitted by Golf Principles in Basingstoke in June complete re shaft of irons and woods.Since then I have play some quality golf. Im the same every year when it gets cold and wet.I find the condition really hard to adjust too.

It's that time of year again when my game goes to s**t......I have real trouble making the transition from firm conditions to wet soggy rough ,wet bunkers and slow greens. I hit so may fat shots and short putts it puts pressure on my driving, to hit it longer and that put pressure on the short game and so on!!! Please can anyone give me a clue to what I need to do, Anyone else suffer the same weaknesses.........

There does seem a lot of haters on Nike Golf products,Just wondering how deep this goes. I now play Nike 20XI-X balls, wear Tour Elite gloves and Lunar Control shoe,equipment I really trust and enjoy....However I'm yet to find a club that I can put in the bag.The Covert Tour came close but no better then my Callaway Extreme Fit. Wedges and Fairways seem the worst to me.I think the irons are pretty good.

If you can play with some single figure players at your club. You will pick up skills without even knowing it,Just see how they deal with a bad hole or two, and scores of 87-89 are just around the corner. Good Luck

All correct if as you say from one extreme to the other. But the guy on here (I've not been on here long so apologies in advance) and golfwrx seem to think shafts are the most important thing with fitting and hitting good shot.....This is NOT true. Shafts come into there own when you swing in excess of 110mph which most handicap golfers don't. loft is the most important factor. Even Lee Westwood now has 11.5* on his G25. Newer club heads really lower spin for everybody there for LOFT is the new king!

Hi Guys Years ago I played the srixon z-urs and have never found a ball quite like it.Does anyone have an idea of which current tour ball is most like the z-urs soft fell low spin and perfect into the wind.

Driver-270yds 3w. -245 2ir. -215 4ir. -200 5ir. -185 6ir. -175 7ir. -165 8ir. -150 9ir. -140 PW. -130 52*. -110 60*. -85 Distance with club head speed of 106mph for my driver and are for total distance. But I hit the ball high with little spin so it's pretty much drop and stop golf for me.

Some stock shafts, like some stock TM shafts in previous years, have a horrid reputation even for guys without much speed. I agree with this,but as i said the shaft has such little effect unless you have extreme swing speeds, for the most part.It should be irrelevant. My last three shaft have been Diamana s+ real deal,Accra dymatch, Rombax 6z and all 3 have had the same effect in ball flight.there just different to swing. You're get more out off lessons than a shaft change,But people seem to like wasting £ on shafts.

Don't forget shafts make up about 5% of you ball flight....if you hit a bad shot...its you not the shaft.I have just got hold of a new driver with the perfect shaft for me(I think) and shot my best round ever in a medal on Saturday....now is it the shaft or me,consider the fact i only hit my driver 7 times, I think not...don't believe the shaft hype....

Hi Just got a Callaway Extreme 9.5* grafalloy red SC and it's a bomb.Out performs my old Titleist 910 any day.the smaller head is really forgiving to and is super clean to look down on..Highly recomended....
