  1. Glad to hear you got it worked out! And two hours is NOTHING when you're getting the results you want!
  2. Try that out and check out the regular Callaway Hex Chrome as well. I recently made the switch from ProV1X to Hex Chrome and couldn't be happier (both on the golf course and in my wallet). Chromes run about $31 a dozen, and they are the only ball under $40 that really "reacts" the way I want it to.
  3. I think you guys are right - it will be best to see what combination feels/reacts best at the fitting. I know my club fitter stocks DG, Rifle, Nippon, KBS, but not sure about Aerotech. Can't wait to get out there and test them out!
  4. In a restaurant, no - but I doubt any of those guys you mentioned would EVER wear jeans on a golf course.
  5. Wow, I've never even heard of those. I'm going to have to look into that.
  6. I'm looking to get a set of the new Titleist AP2 714's and wanted some feedback on shafts that you guys (and girls) are currently gaming. Right now I have Project X 5.5 in my AP2s (708 model) and like them, but haven't really had the opportunity to hit KBS very much, etc. Stock option in these are Dynamic Gold S300, but wondering if I should throw a few extra bucks at "upgraded shafts". With that being said, what iron shaft is working best for you? My driver SS is around 95-100.
  7. Hmmmm...never thought to try that. Usually I pick my intermediate target, align to that, and then take a final look at the pin. I may have to give it a shot at the range this week - I like the thought process behind it. Plus, it's probably never a bad thing to get the "attack the flag" mindset changed up a little.
  8. I didn't realize it was "snobby" to say that I don't appreciate jeans on the golf course. If that's the case, then 95%+ of all golf courses around the world are "snobby". It's my OPINION that I do not believe jeans belong on the golf course, and since you don't agree with my opinion that's the end of it and we can move on. Agree to disagree - conversation over.
  9. I think someone called me a "snob" to start all of this...and I thought an old man wouldn't do something so silly. Too late - there is dookie everywhere. It doesn't smell good either...
  10. What's a "sniggle"? Last time I checked it was about fishing, and had nothing to do with what we were talking about? I'm not trying to impress anyone in here, so if my comments come off as a "snob", then it is what it is. Basically it comes down to this: jeans look like garbage on a golf course. And for you to have so much disregard towards my statements, you sure put a lot of effort into replying to me, so I guess I should say thank you? Have fun in your jeans, d-bag.
  11. No thanks, I'll go ahead and win so I can buy you guys some actual pants. You two playing from the ladies tees, because you and golfingdad sure do bicker like them. First of all - appreciate the clip, because I'm a big Will Ferrell fan. Secondly, you argue a lot about a subject to not have any "judgement" towards it. Let's break it down a bit - if you were out (let's say at a nice restaurant) and were dressed up enjoying your dinner, when all of the sudden a bum busts through the front door and sits down next to you. Tell me for one second you aren't going to slightly judge him based on where you are (what proper attire is considered, type of clientele to be expected, etc.) vs his appearance currently and the way he handles himself. Same thing applies at the golf course. There are certain expectations with sports - a sprinter isn't going to wear jeans, a diver isn't going to wear a hoodie, and golfers TRADITIONALLY don't wear jeans. That's the only point I'm trying to make.
  12. I know divot.com is trustworthy (I've ordered a couple of things on there), but not sure about the others.
  13. Golfingdad - if you want to wear jeans so bad, wear them. I'm not going to stop you...although I'll be the one behind you on the teebox questioning your choice of apparel. Then I'll politely ask to play through so we can get out of the way of the hacks wearing jeans in front of us.
  14. Hahaaa - FACT!
