Bascially what the instructor told me was I had a descent swing for only playing for 3 months but my grip was all wrong. It was a very strong grip (slice preventing grip) and my follow through wasn't great. She fixed that and told me I would start hitting the balls to the right. Sure as shit, I hit almost every ball to the right. No I know there is a method to her madness, because I can feel that I am striking the ball alot better, and my swing even feels better. I just would really like to hit the ball straight. I am open to any suggestions. I am going back to see her but it will not be for a month or so. Thanks

That's the only wood from the r7 line that I don't have. I have the driver, 3 wood and hybrid already. I hit my hybrid about 230 so I don't think I will buy the 5 wood!

Well it looks like a started a juicy topic. I would like to add to it.... yesterday I shot a 95 with 5 pars throughtout the whole round. There were a few triple bogeys that I was not proud of, but overall it was my best round so far. I hit 9 or 10 of the fairways which I know is the reason for my score. Even when I didn't hit the fairway I recovered very well! All in all I was very pleased with my day! Come on July 4th!

The week before I shot the 98 I played with my girlfriends dad. He has been playing for years so he wanted to play from the black tees, so I did too. I shot a 104 that day. I wonder if that would have been my first time to break 100, playing from the yellows? Either way I am still very happy breaking 100 in such a short amount of time!

I have been playing once a week, sometimes twice a week since the first of May 2008 and I finally broke 100 last week. This was an honest to goodness 98. No mulligans no re-dos, nothing. I was very pleased with myself and I was just curious if anyone has done it faster or if this is about the norm. As far as my history with golf, I have never played a round of golf before May, and I had only been to the driving range 20 or 30 times or so in my 28 years. Jason

I was looking on the Golfsmith website and I saw that they had a set of Zevo irons 3-PW on sale for $99.99. I went down to the store to see them in person and they looked like a really nice club for the money. I even demoed them and they hit pretty well and were very forgiving. Have any of you guys hit with these clubs? If so what were your likes and dislikes?

Today was my 5th round ever to play and I broke 100. This is still not a very good score but with the 40 mph winds that I had to deal with, I liked it. There was one tee shot that I hit really well (probably going to be about 240-250) but the wind got it and blew it almost all the way back to me. I am addicted!
