  1. Just to let you all know, here is the comment that the moderator IACAS left on my reputation because he thinks he is a know it all, and he deleted one of my posts as I am sure he will delete this, I have decided to abondon this forum and go to where the moderators moderate, and don't consider their advice as being law, and don't try to belittle people that have more knowledge then them. Here is his comment... I just lowered your rep - I would have just for that stupid f***ing nickname but you picked a fight so enjoy yourself in Iacas doghouse Real Mature IACAS, maybe it's time you grow up!
  2. And what gives the right to decide who knows what? I'll be willing to bet my resources far outweight yours for scientific knowledge of the golf swing and mechanics of putting. Let's hear what putting stroke you think is best for an overall higher percentage chance of a smooth straight stroke, and why? Sounds like your questioning Jack Nicklaus as being one of the greatest putters that played You get your feelings hurt so you lower my reputation?
  3. Let's see, if I hit the sweet spot but my putter is turned 3 degress out, I bet I will miss the hole! It's not about the sweet spot on a putter, it is about a straight putt So Scientifically, if you use a blade with the shaft at one end, it is easier to flip around the shaft due to the weight difference. A center shaft with equal weigting on both sides will give a more balance stroke. There are many putters with center shaft setups, or pm me and I will tell you where I got mine. Also a piston style putt like Jack Nickalaus' is the most accurate
  4. Scientifically, a putter that has the shaft come from the center, with more weight on the ends then the center will give the best results This is the head of my putter and I love it!
  5. Watching in slow motion, you can see top early release of the right cocked wrist, before contact the right arm is straight, which means he is now throwing the ball rather than striking. it also causes him the pull or hook the shot from the rear view. He needs to practice releasing after his hands pass over the ball, this will cause the downward strike on the ball.
  6. Yes, a little in front of stance, ball height to center of driver to start. As if you were hitting a 3 wood off tee. A practice swing should tell you where your low point is, where you sweep the grass. the ball should be about 1 inches in front of that to start. Do easy (60%) swing speeds or less. You should be making solid contact with a low ball flight. When this is accomplished, then adjustments can be made to tee height and how far forward. To far forward and you will top the ball like before. To high tee you will pop ball up. Find the combo for your swing and stick with it. As far as ball 1/2 ball above driver head, that is personal choice. I like mine a little lower, to hit a lower shot, with less launch angle. I have a 10.5 driver.
  7. You answered all your questions. The 6 inches between your ears is the hardest thing to overcome. You need to practice your chokedown swings until you are as convident with them as normal swing. Same with your chipping. It is all in your preshot routine, to block out the negitives. You are on the right path, it will take more range and chipping balls. Did you hear, Lorena Ochoa spent 3 hours a day in the off season working from 100 yards and in. Practice practice practice
  8. Make note of what and why a divot is caused. If you were swinging without a ball and you take a divot it means the lowest part of your swing is below ground level, that is what causes a divot. The reason you should want one...you want to hit the ball on the way down (irons) so it pinches off the turf, then when the ball is gone, the club continues through the turf causing a divot. It also for spin control. Practice swinging without a ball picking different points in your swing, you should find a point where you take a shallow divot, then you place the ball before that divot, I would bet normally you have the ball too far forward in your stance.

    Mulligans

I will only take a mulligan on the first hole if I had no warmup at all! And only 1.
  10. Do your swing in slow motion to see where the lowest part of your drive is, sounds like the lowest part of the swing is too far behind the ball so when the club contacts the ball it is putting topspin like you said. Tee the ball low just in front of center (this should be the lowest part of the swing), swing easy until you make good solid contact, then tee it a little higher as you move the ball forward until you have the contact and ball flight you desire. Hope this helps.
  11. Divots are important and necessary, it shows you are hitting down on the ball and putting backspin on it. It sounds like the ball is too far back in the stance. Try moving in foward so the lowest part of the swing arc won't be so deep, this should give you higher ball flight also.
  12. I just won a putting contest with 60 guys, the prize was taylormade burner driver . My technique is like Jack Nickelaus. Piston the right elbow, keep the putter face 100% square to the line. You can practice by sliding the putter along a board making sure you don't rotate the face.

    Moe Norman

That youtube is SCAM! Todd Graves is telling lies to promote himself. Jack Kuykendall started Natural Golf with a Patented swing that he developed. Someone told him it looked like Moe Norman's swing, and Jack said "What's a Moe Norman". They met and Jack was able to give the scientific reason Moe had a great swing. Moe had nothing to do with the developement of Natural Golf or the name Single Axis. That was all Jack. Jack and Moe became good friends. Todd came around later after his try of the PGA failed and he hooked up with Moe to learn his swing. The Natural Golf Company was legally stolen from Jack by clever investers, they changed the swing, went bankrupt and sold the Company to the present owners. Jack went on, developed Lever Power Golf Swing, and has a new Patent pending swing, that is by far the easiest swing to learn. He discovered it this year by accident. Jack is a scientist, and was one of Golf Magazines top 100 golf instuctors 5 years in a row, he is considered the number one scientific instructor. You can check him out at kuykendallgolf.com. I went from 23 to 9 index in 3 years. I don't have time to practice all the time. His swing works for all. No distance loss. Increased accuracy, and you never need lessons if you follow his advice.
