  1. I shot 104, I hit some good shots, I really struggled off the tee and the greens were really tough. At the end of the day i got to play a beautiful course and I felt like I got better.
  2. Just played Blackhorse in Seaside, CA.
  3. Hello everyone. What is the course that everyone settled on? Depending on where it is, I would like to try to make it happen. Rocky
  4. I was wondering if anyone is currently playing the Burner 2.0's. I really like what I have read, and the one time I was able to hit them, they felt really good. Anyone of a mini review on them, also do you know if there is any difference between the black and normal ones? Thanks, Rocky
  5. My vote is for the Taylor made R7's. I did some research awhile back, and found a lot of positive feedback for the forgiveness of the R7's and they didn't disappoint. Then I bought a set of TM RAC LT's and gave my R7's to my nephew. Both are good in my opinion. Then i again my handicap is still 26 so take it for what its worth.
  6. I have not used that site, but i have used http://www.groupgolfer.com/, and i have seen a few good deals here.
  7. I hope this video is okay, I was having issues loading other files. Thanks for any help you guys can give me.
  8. I've been Playing Golf for: 2-3 years My current handicap index or average score is:26 My typical ball flight is: Right to Left The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: I hit the ball fat, and my swings from the range don't seem to follow me to the course
  9. Has anyone hit these before(see below)? I found their website http://www.feelwedges.com/Competitor-PVD-Tour-Irons-p/irons_pvd-4-46.htm but I was looking for a deal, I looked, but I couldn't find anyone selling them on EBay. I had a lesson this evening, and the instructor let me hit a few from the set he had laying around, and they felt really good, I just wish that it was outdoors and not inside. He had a full set minus a 7 iron, and he let me borrow them to try them out. I am around a 28 handicap, so I thought that there was no way I could hit a blades, but i guess we will see. Anyway just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on these.. Thanks, Rocky
  10. Thanks, I am still in the market, but I think I might wait a little since I am kinda sold on the rocketbladez irons, and the R1, and thought I would wait on the price to drop a little, or for people to start selling off when upgrading. But I Will definitely look into the SLDR. Thanks again, Rocky
  11. I friend of a friend has been making his own putters and wedges. I have been on the verge of trying out one of the putters.. Has anyone on here heard of, or tried these out? http://www.carnahangolf.com/
  12. Fair enough...
  13. I have tried using my phone, but I am not a big can of having my phone in my pocket when I play, and it seems to slow me down. I played the other day with a buddy who had a Golf Buddy, and it made me double think my thinking. How many of you use one, and which one do you use? Rocky
  14. They helped me, but don't try to go back to a normal ball. I developed a bad slice, and I didn't realize it, took me a while be able to hit the ball straight again..
  15. I bought a box of Bridgestone E6, and walked around for an hour talking myself out of buying countless other things..
  16. Thanks for the tip
  17. Hello, I live south of San Jose, and I am looking for a quality pro to get a few tips, and club fitting. Anyone know of a good guy to go see that is reasonably priced? Thanks, Rocky
  18. I play a course near San Jose named is Cinnabar Hills, and on number 7 of the canyon course there is a huge flag, not sure how high, but it is a par 4 that seems like it is straight up hill..
  19. Do you have any that you would suggest? I am okay with a used set, and I am looking to spend from $300-$400 for a set. Thanks, Rocky
  20. Sorry, I didnt mean that I pop the ball of the tee, I mean that my slice shows up from time to time. Thanks for the advice, I think I will go down to golf smith and hit the calloway. I have a 3, and 5 wood diablo that I hit pretty well. Thanks, Rocky
  21. Hello, I am looking to upgrade my iron set, and my driver. I am currently hitting Taylormade Rac LT's , and a Cobra S9-1 F driver, with a proforce V2 stiff shaft. I have been researching for a few weeks, and I think that I have narrowed it down to the Burner 2.0, or Rocketbladez irons. I have fondness to Taylormade products, so I admit I might be a little blinded, but I have hit the burners, and I really fell in love with the feel and the performance of them. For driver I am a little more open, I have looked into the Taylormade R1, R11, and the Rocketballz stage 2, also the Calloway X hot, so I am defiantly looking for an adjustable driver, just not sure which one. That all being said, my biggest issue is consistency, and a slice that pops up, normally off the tee. I was hoping to get some suggestions from everyone. Thank you, Rocky
