I wonder the same thing - all british guys. Golf reviews in general on youtube are british guys.
Maybe I will start my own crappy golfer review channel. :)
I am golf equipment addict - just love reading about and playing with all the new stuff as it comes out.
youtube comparison
I haven't hit the speedblades but I have the RSi1's. I upgraded from TM Burner 2.0 and I hit the RSi1's much better. They really do help with mishits. They seem to only lose a few yards where other clubs lose more.
Youtube reviews - the data matches what I say above. I like the face slots - they help me frame the ball.
@iacas
you can delete the post if needed. i was just offering my opinion on golf shoes in this golf shoe thread. i am fairly new here and didn't realize that wasn't allowed.
i apologize.
Footjoy DNA - check ebay to buy them new for a cheaper price. Go try them on though because they do fit a little different on my foot. I am usually a 9.5 but got a 9 in these.
I know they are expensive but the footjoy DNA is the best golf shoe I have ever owned. got a pair for Christmas and have played several rounds in them and they are so comfortable. I played nine after work yesterday and forgot to change shoes when I was done. I walked right into the grocery store to pick some stuff up with these on.
if you keep an eye on ebay, you can get a new pair for $150 or less.
said it in another thread, but get fit and try the G30. check reviews on it. it is as forgiving as any on the market right now.
youtube Ping G30 and watch some of Crossfields reviews. he's honest and compares all the new drivers.
as long as I put a decent swing on mine, I hit the fairway.
go get fitted - I would guess you are a stiff flex but they can tell you for sure.
try the G30 - it's as stable as you can get right now - hard to miss the fairway with it. also look at the new taylormade with the dual weights on the bottom (can't think of the name).
I have trouble hitting 3 woods to the point I don't bag one. That was until I bought a "mystery box" from one of the online golf retailers. It came with a used 3 wood and mine turned out to be a Taylormade V Steel. The kicker is at has a steel dynamic gold lite shaft in stiff flex. I hit it on the range the other day and it looked prettier than my drives. The club itself looks terrible due to age but man it hits good.
Why do current woods not come in steel shaft options? They seem so much more stable to me.
look for a set of taylormade burner 2.0 on ebay. they are long and forgiving for a beginner. you can get a new set for $250 or less and they will last for years. I think you can order them from golfsmith for $299 even.
check the reviews - they are great clubs.
i have a one year old set i would sell you for $175. i just bought the new taylormade rsi1's.
i have been researching these. the golf buddy gives you front back and center and has a button you push and a voice gives you the distance. they are $119 at golfsmith. golfbuddy also makes some fancier onces but i think i am going to go with the original golfbuddy as i only need to know distance.
I tend to top my 3 wood and my hybrid. I play the ball off my front foot but I never catch it cleanly. I have slowed my swing down and for some reason I just can't catch it. I did it couple cleanly yesterday at the range by holding the club head in the air at address and then starting my backswing. Maybe I should keep practicing that.
Is there a fairway wood that's easy to hit? I have a cobra baffler and can't hit it off the deck.
Any drills to try? Any suggestions on some 3 woods that are easy to hit.
