Thinking of buying a GPS device as a gift for my wife (OK, I'll use it, too) but it has to be readable on course without reading glasses. Most I've seen have displays with small yardage numbers, which won't work for most 60-yr-old eyes . . .. Suggestions?

Just got back from Myrtle. My favorites: True Blue, Kings North, and TPC. Didn't play Caledonia, but heard nothing but great reports from everyone (but over $170/round). True Blue definitely memorable, but note they are overseeding the bermuda this week. Kings North is bentgrass, and conditions are excellent.

I was a big Arnie fan in the 60's and 70's, but Jack had far more mental discipline and course management skill, as well as off the charts putting skill. His competition -- in terms of other major winners -- was definitely stronger than Tiger's. But, if Tiger breaks the 18 major record, especially at an earlier age than Jack, he's the man. (That's a bigger "if" than most think . . .)

I'm retired, after working in electronics (Silicon Valley) for 28 yrs. Current job -- travel, golf, house projects.
