  1. Isn't "American" just as generic. I mean we aren't the only country in the "Americas"
  2. I want outrageous speed with a Callaway XR driver! Rickie Fowler -2 Louis Oosthuizen -2 Justin Thomas -2
  3. Not exactly true. Record in pool play does impact your position and payouts. 2-1 players will be T17; 1-2 will finish TXX depending on how many 2-1. Ext.
  4. @mvmac Thank you for spending so much time looking over my daughters swing and giving some good advice. It makes some good sense what you are saying. Prior to what you see in this video she used to really pull her hands and club straight in and around on her takeaway. So what you see in the video above is an exaggerated change from that. @mvmac @boogielicious @maddog0512 @cedrictheo Thanks for the kind words on my son. The swing he has amazes me as well. It is all natural and far better than what I have to offer as well. @cedrictheo I had never heard that from Greg Norman. That is probably very sound advice. The only thing I mention to my son is slow/smooth back and fast forward. Thoughts on that?
  5. I've been Playing Golf for: Last Summer My current handicap index or average score is: Generally between +3 - +7 through 9 holes (9 year old girl tee lengths) My typical ball flight is: slight draw The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: More consistent center club face contact and the push right off toe. This is my 9 year old daughter. I have had 2 recent back surgeries so I cannot share my own swing at this time. My daughter really loves to play and has a great time doing it. She is highly competitive and wants to improve as much as possible. As a dad my goal is to just keep her interested and playing. She has worked really hard on improving her take away as she used to come way inside. Also she used to go way across the line at the top and has really improved. Where would you look for improvement moving forward? Thanks! Videos: I've been Playing Golf for: Last Summer My current handicap index or average score is: Generally between +3 - +5 through 9 holes (6 year old tee lenghts) My typical ball flight is: straight The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: Just more consistent contact. He hits the ball very straight. And here is my 6 year old son (5 in video). I don't have a recent video or one from behind the line. With him I am careful not to say much other than encouragement. Mostly just setup, grip, and just slowing him down a little. He just loves to hit balls and play on course. I don't really want to focus too much on technique of swing or anything until he is another year or 2 older. He has some really good natural habits. Anyone who has experience with juniors would love to hear from you on what you would recommend. I try to not say much and encourage more than anything. My daughter is at the point where she does well with more detailed coaching and instruction. Love seeing the kids play. :)
  6. They don't show the groups until the back 9. You will see coverage start when players enter Amen Corner.
  7. They apparently have it at the Masters this year. Track is available on masters.com and the iPad. It is sweet and superior to the regular pgatour.com site.

  9. I was cleared to swing a golf club 6 weeks after my microdisc surgery and I was obviously not rushed back. This isn't a fusion or disc replacement. A standard micro disc surgery is not a big deal. He will be walking around today. My guess is he is back by the US Open.
  10. I agree with you 100%. It isn't helping his golf game and I would argue it has hurt it.
  11. Ironically I think its more likely his herniated disc is related to his workout regime than his golf swing. Lifting heavy weight is a good way to do it.
  12. Yeah I actually had a large amount removed. Mine was a sever case. However since it was early and quickly I recovered almost immediately since my nerve didn't have significant damage. My comments that it isn't a structural change comes from my doctor. Meaning nothing is added or changed. They are just removing disc which is already protruded and not being used. IMO the concern for Tiger is more about how long will this help. As you said the disc is gone forever and disc material doesn't really heal/close well. He could easily herniate that same disc and be left with almost no disc. In that case he is looking at what Goosen had or a fusion. Those could really cost him his career. I think with just a mictrodisc he will be as good as new.
  13. Very true regarding the disc material is gone forever. Decent chance Tiger could be looking at the surgery Goosen had in the future. From everything that i read prior Tiger wasn't dealing with a lot of nerve pain yet. It also seems like they caught it early. If that is the case he will likely feel 90% better within a few weeks. The lingering pain is generally from permanent nerve damage. Sounds like you have that.
  14. He will most likely be back for the US Open. I was back swinging a club after 6 weeks and I wasn't on an aggressive schedule obviously.
  15. I had this same back surgery last year. He will recover very quickly from it as nothing structural is changed. Expect him back before the next major.
