I just started golfing, but I've been playing baseball for quite a number of years and this situation sounds really firmiliar. Two seasons ago I was batting .531 with 9 hrs, and I won player of the year. Last season I batted in the low to mid 200's, with two home runs. Every time I came up to the plate I tried something new, and failed. It would eat away at me day and night. After the first half of the season was done my coach handed me a book called The Mental Game of Baseball. Now my BA is well into the 300's and I have 6 hr's with like 19 games left. It talked about just letting go, and letting your hours of preparation kick in. The cliff notes from this story are, just let your ability come through. You practice for a reason. Good luck.
